Oh' remember ring-a-lario that's a good one, monkey bars without pading underneath, no seatbelts in cars, and we were able to ride in the front seat! Step on a crack and you break your mother's back:)

The worst insult you could make was "Your mother wears combat boots"

This might "date" me a little bit, but maybe it would be easier to do what we did in college....inject oranges with vodka!

And plugging a watermelon with pure grain!

Andy, I have always loved coffee icecream and the smell of coffee. I never touched the hot stuff until I turned 40! Yum, Yum, Yum!

Now I have eaten coffee ice cream on occasion when I worked at Friendly's, way back in the day. I'm talking like 30+ years ago, oh my, has it really been that long? :faint:

Wow and I thought our Pack was huge....we have about 17 Tigers and then about 12 of each going up. woves, bears etc etc. Our theme is Carnival.....any ideas for centerpieces????

Maybe different carnival game 'stations' on the tables. Decorate something like a wallpaper trough (or something else long and narrow), fill with water and float plastic ducks in to for a duck pond. Make a mini ring-toss using some small bottles in a wooden box. Get a couple of small, cheap fish bowls & ping pong balls. Or better yet, for this one you could use clear plastic cups and each kid could 'win' their dessert - filll the cups with blue jello and gummy fish (what is that game called where you toss pingpong balls into a fish bowl to win a fish...that one!) I'm sure there are a few other carnival games you could scale down.

You table could be interactive & the boys could win little prizes.

As I was reading this and remembering - I thought of a few others:

playing stickball in the street
playing ring-a-lario
Kids from 5 to 15 playing together
slumber parties and sleepovers
walking to the store two blocks away to get cigarettes for your parents when you were 6 years old
holding a boys hand for the first time
Circle, circle, dot, dot, now I have my cooties shot!

thanks Andy!

Oh yes Lorri I remember those too!

How about these:

I'm rubber you're glue. Everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you!

No Eggies (no sharing you treats)

I'm going to revise my statement to Andy:

DIS Therapy.....Cheaper than a shrink!! ::yes::

MaryRose - nice to see you too on the boards! Doreen has been sick with her back again. The nerve pain is unbearable and she won't go to the doctor. We should fix her up some smoothies and I am sure that will take the pain away fast!!!

I have had 3 different series of epidurial blocks in my back they really relieved my pain. My last series was in 2002.

On the Travel Channel right now is a show about ResidenSea the cruise ship you live on. Only 110 2000 sq ft. apartments on the ship that travel the world. A cruise ship you live on!! Sign us up! Sign us ALL up!!!!

Electricity!
During the ultimate evening tag/hide n seek game right before your mother called you in for dinner.

I will reveal a story I think even my wife doesn't know:

While in Vienna Austria visiting friends we were having a good time with food and drink. My friends dared me and a friend to dress up as women and take a walk through a naughty section of town. To make a long story short we were arrested and taken to the Police Station and questioned. After we explained our acts the Policemen in the station wanted to take pictures with us.
I guess it had to be the large jewel encrusted butterfly I had pinned to my sweater. I think I have a picture somewhere in the attic. Must dig it out.

This was the only time I was arrested.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So that is why your tag says "Knows the ways of the Hooker" !!!:lmao:

That's good! and up your nose with a rubber hose, talking about "Happy Days" the next morning at school.

Did we say "Sit on it, and spin" ??

Since I'm ketching up, I have no idea what we're talking about.

Na-nu na-nu

Thats nice we did one like that at Clearwater FL.

What fine lookin' pirates you have there Andrew!!! :thumbsup2

Friendly's we used to go there all of the time when we would visit my Nana & Grampa in Boston. Coffee icecream sundae with hot fudge.......I wish I had one now!

Andrew I would like to volunteer to help by being a presenter. Although many say it is all about being nominated and receiving the award, I am much more interested in the gift bag! Just let me hand out an award and then point me to the SWAG!

That is exactly why I want to be on at least one of the inaugural voyages for the new ships. The Swag!

Those are some great ideas
