At the time I did not know Jack, but he would be the taller one, as hookers (of the rugby kind) are usually not tall. Actually I looked more like Olivia Newton John from Grease when I was arrested. Think angora.

The Angora Olivia Newton John?.........you're sure it wasn't the leather one???

A really special number by Omar......................The Tentmaker :rotfl:

It's made of a really special Burlap and involves lots and lots and lots of DUCT TAPE!!!

Of yes, and of course, CROCS!

You are soooooooooooooooooo bad MR, but in a funny way!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I received the following in an e-mail, the scary thing is, I remember most of these.

As I was reading this and remembering - I thought of a few others:

playing stickball in the street
playing ring-a-lario
Kids from 5 to 15 playing together
slumber parties and sleepovers
walking to the store two blocks away to get cigarettes for your parents when you were 6 years old
holding a boys hand for the first time
Circle, circle, dot, dot, now I have my cooties shot!

thanks Andy!

I will reveal a story I think even my wife doesn't know:

While in Vienna Austria visiting friends we were having a good time with food and drink. My friends dared me and a friend to dress up as women and take a walk through a naughty section of town. To make a long story short we were arrested and taken to the Police Station and questioned. After we explained our acts the Policemen in the station wanted to take pictures with us.
I guess it had to be the large jewel encrusted butterfly I had pinned to my sweater. I think I have a picture somewhere in the attic. Must dig it out.

This was the only time I was arrested.

Yes, that is one photo we MUST see!!! :rotfl2:

Awwhhh come on. All the cool kids are doing jello shots! Just one won't hurt you.

OK I have it figured out, we can get boiling water from the coffee service on deck 9, but the question is: how long will to take to jell in the room 'beverage cooler'? Would it help to add a tray of ice to the bottom of the cooler? Who can test this for us on a pre-TPC jello shot reconnaissance mission??

This might "date" me a little bit, but maybe it would be easier to do what we did in college....inject oranges with vodka!

Andy Love This!! How about these:

Selling Kool-Aid all day, earning a quarter and being RICH! (from my DH)
Playing Skulley
Fishing Spaldenes out of the sewer (from my DH)
Playing Ringaleavio
Early morning newspaper route (from my DH)

Growing up in Brooklyn was Superty Cool!!! (from my DH & ME)

As I was reading this and remembering - I thought of a few others:

playing stickball in the street
playing ring-a-lario
Kids from 5 to 15 playing together
slumber parties and sleepovers
walking to the store two blocks away to get cigarettes for your parents when you were 6 years old
holding a boys hand for the first time
Circle, circle, dot, dot, now I have my cooties shot!

thanks Andy!

Oh' remember ring-a-lario that's a good one, monkey bars without pading underneath, no seatbelts in cars, and we were able to ride in the front seat! Step on a crack and you break your mother's back:)

OMG! Andy this was so beautiful. Yes, I lived, I did almost all of these things. Thanks so much for the memories.

Let me add:

watching The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights, and Mutal of Omaha's Wild Kingdom

Thats how our movie night started. A few years ago ABC started doing the wonderful world of Disney on Sunday nights....We break out the blanket & pillows on the living room floor, make popcorn and watched Disney. Then it went off the air, the kids were so into movie night it just continued with DVD's.

This might "date" me a little bit, but maybe it would be easier to do what we did in college....inject oranges with vodka!

Hey Stacey we use to inject watermelons with vodka. I like the orange idea :thumbsup2

MaryRose - nice to see you too on the boards! Doreen has been sick with her back again. The nerve pain is unbearable and she won't go to the doctor. We should fix her up some smoothies and I am sure that will take the pain away fast!!!

I can't wait to see you all again. By the way the ring you got last year on the cruise I just got yesterday. I have had so many compliments on my "BLING"!!

How are your husband and kids. Did your daughter pick out a school yet?

Andy - I remember all those things! The one thing I get a kick out of is when I talk to my niece and nephews about pre "CABLE" and pre "Remote Control"! Our 1st color TV was a 13" GE and you had to get up and change the channel by hand and only had 3 stations plus PBS. Now we have 50"+ HDTV and remote controls for everything even a remote to turn the water on before you get in the shower!!! and a record player and 8 tracks.

Those were the days my friend!(remember that song)?

What a support group the people on this thread has become over the past few weeks. I thank each of you for your willingness to share your joys and your hurts, and have allowed me to do the same. It feels as though some healing has taken place from the past.

With all that I read before going to bed last night on this thread, I had a dream about my step-dad last night. I must say, for the first time of having dream about him since he passed last April, I didn't wake up in a cold sweat. It was though I said a final good-bye in my dream, and have decided to let the past be, life is way too short, to hold on to the hurts of the past any longer. For this, I thank each and everyone of you who have shared your life's trials and journey. You are an amazing lot, thank you!!!!!!!!!
