Hi Johnna out there in Lurkersville!! My DH doesn't post either but participates fully in all DIS activities! Including:

Wearing of the T-S***s (No Lime Green though)
Wearing of the bracelets
Wearing of the lanyard (NOT)
Wearing of the leis (Yes Lime Green)
Carrying of the 100 pound backpack of booze
Assembling Cordless Blender
Acting as Bartender
Attending all DIS meets
Attending all DIS excursions
Meeting DIS friends as Cove Cafe for iced coffee drinks
Rolling his eyes behind his DIS-crazed DW's back

I will NEVER let DD get her hair braided. That is too painful. They have information in the first day's navigator about where to sign up for an appointment on the ship though.

DD talked me into it on our last cruise. She had it done in PV and it looked really cute, but she tired of it quickly and she did complain about it. What was really a pain was taking it out! I swore I would never let her do it again!

Somehow I don't think a gathering that involves this group is appropriate for a "quiet" pool.....won't be quiet after you all get there....

My DW only drinks Tequilla in the form of margaritas. Thus my margaritas have evolved to a fine art.

Is it true that there is an excursion to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe at Puerto Vallerta?

I would love to do that too...if you find out more info, please pass it on...Thanks!

Not sure what DCL will offer. But I spent a week in Puerto Vallarta a few years ago. Its really easy to take the bus from the port to downtown. Our Lady is just a few blocks up from the main road. I've visited, but didn't go inside as there were services going on at the time we were in that area and we didn't want to interupt.

You can do a real easy walking tour, see Our Lady and also see Liz Taylor's apartment and the walkway to Richard Burton's place.
