You can get memory cards very inexpensively with all of the sales & rebates. I will post whatever I see.

What kind of cards do you use? I think that we have around 6 GBs of cards.
Well DW is something of a "camera snob" as I call her. It's Nikon or Leica all the way!! (She has an old Leica G-III her dad brought back from Germany during WWII)
For you Canon--or worse, Kodak--users, don't worry, it's nothing
personal if she sneers at your camera

It's just that her training as an artist gave her some very strong views against the Golden Gods of Kodak
et al. He university used Agfa film, Ilford paper and Nikon cameras...anything less and you're putting your academic life at risk of dismal failure!

So when she FINALLY went digital a few years ago--she was a purist until a camera shop guy showed her that even if she brought in a roll of Agfa, they would still process/print the pictures with the digital machine!

She hadn't realized that digital had penetrated so far into the mainstream!
Her camera uses compactflash and her primary card is a Lexar Professional

Though her's is an older model that runs at 80X instead of the current crop of 133X cards. I noticed that SanDisk has their new Extreme III and Extreme IV cards available but the 4Gb+ cards are still quite pricey. We need to go with the higher-end/speed cards because of her Nikon's rapidfire mode...don't want to loose any shots due to a slow-writing card!
I actually need a new camera, probably a small, shirt pocket type for times when the big Nikon wouldn't be prudent to carry around. Our good friend got a 7MP Lumix/Leica and it's really nice!
