8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 7

Hi everyone! I am soooo way behind. I went to the Christmas Tree shop yesterday, but all the fish extenders were gone. Our Christmas Tree shop is always picked over immediatly & the good stuff is always gone. But why those little hanging photo/card holders were such a hit is beyone me. Unless there was a slew of DIS board members there trying to buy them as fish extenders.

I know I'm the one giving flash backs today, but I loved the stories that were truly stated from the heart. I was very moved. DH & I were very lucky with our little ones. I did have a lot of problems with my second pregnancy with DS as I had toxemia & I was in & out of the hospital. It was scary for a while, but everything turned out okay & doesn't compare to some of the stories I heard here yesterday.

Mary & Laura best of luck with your DD, I hope she can get back to feeling the way she wants to very soon!

Good morning...I got up today and promptly fell to the ground! Sharp, shooting pain from my big toe. Swollen to about 3x its normal size!

Good news is I'll stay home and can maybe keep up with the board!

Ouch!!! Take Care!!!

OK, gotta get back to work and see if I can stay on my feet the rest of the day. It's up to 48* right now, cloudy, not much sun, but I'll take the 48* that's for sure.

Andy I know I've told you how much it means to have had the privilege of getting to know you, but after reading your stories of Kristen, BJ, & subsequently your adoption of Angelina just brings home what a special person you are. It is not just that you shared your stories with everyone, but you have a special talent in telling stories. I wish I could be so eloquent. Wishing you & your family all the best!

The simplest solution for this is to set up a private Yahoo! group. I will do this. Then you send invites out to each of the e-mail addresses and mail comes and goes from <groupname>@yahoogroups.com rather than showing anyone's e-mail address.

This method also allows moderators to remove or ban people who misuse the list.

I will set this up. PM me with your e-mail address if you want to be part of this mailing list.

I think we paid $26.00 plus tip for Angelina's braids, it was $2.00 per braid if I remember correctly.

We had DD's done on Castaway Cay since it was our first stop on our August Double Dip. It cost about $50 but it also stayed in for almost 2 months. DD teared up a bit while she was having it done, but she felt it was worth it when she saw how beautiful she looked!

With all of the catching up I was doing yesterday, I never got to telling my story with Sarah. She was born 13 weeks early, just shy of 2 lbs, and stayed in the hospital for 10 weeks. She had her ups and downs before she came home, but she is a very intelligent, put together young lady now. But that may be changing all too soon as she turns 13 today!

I guess I am a little confused as to how having a password protected site would solve the problem we just had.

Anyone who is a member of this cruise would have access to that site and then could harvest the e-mails off that site and send the spam messages, right? I am not sure I want my e-mail address on the site -- I use my Yahoo address for here because I don't care about that one, but I check it so infrequently.

I mean, the only way they got our e-mails this time was because they were a member of the site -- I doubt they stumbled across it accidentally, did they?
