Heyyy, I finally got around to really looking there (with intent to buy) and I'm like so upset now. What's up with no lime green for adults?


no seriously... I would never wear them except while at WDW or on the cruise with LIME GREEN shirts... which I don't own any right now (because our cruise shirts were gray and the shirt from Disboards membership for SOME WEIRD REASON are white...) -so I'm just kidding about that.

Did anyone ever say whether you could put jibbitz in the mickey holes? I don't know if I really even want to mess with those- for any of our crocs, including the mickey ones. I think it's kinda silly to clog up the holes that are there for a purpose! (breathability, get water/sand/etc. back out of the shoe/etc.) But if I get some mickey ones for the kids, I just KNOW my diva (youngest DD) would want some of those... so I'm curious if they fit in those mickey head holes or if they fall out?

I did try to catch up on and off all day but I'm sure I missed lots of posts.

Thanks for sharing many heartfelt stories. I went through quite a few tissues before I stopped. DD(3) wanted to know why I was crying. Tried explaining but gave up. How do you explain such heartache and joy to a baby.

I'm pretty sure that HIGH FREQUENCY was the band we saw on the Wonder in 2005. I remember them being better than NTWINE, but that doesn't give HIGH FREQUENCY enough credit.

I thought the name sounded familiar. I believe that is who we had in Sept/05 on the Wonder, but I couldn't tell you anything about them...sorry.

Here's another question- when, where and how (and how much) do you get the girls hair braided on the ship?

I never saw anyone getting their hair braided on the ship and we didn't really try to find out the info about it either.

This time we would really like to do this for the 2 girls (and possibly even myself! Especially if my hair isn't cooperating like it wasn't last cruise!) but I am NOT interested in getting it done at any port. We've been there done that in Jamaica (and I've heard of other places as well, including some of our ports of call) where you agree to one price and then when they are done the price is WAY more than they originally said. So we're only interested in doing it on the ship and I've never really looked for info on that.

Anyone care to take this question on? Thanks!

OMG!!!! First hand experience here....NTWINE WAS THE WORST BAND THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!! I will have to nag DH to get some of our video on DVD then on the computer so that I can post some for you to hear for yourself.

They were doing it off to the side of the pool . . I believe the adult pool when we sailed in Jan 07. Seemed like lots of folks were having it done. Not sure if I could endure the pain or if my hair could handle it . . it's too fine. But I'm sure you'll look great!

Okay maybe that's why we never saw them- we never even really went near the adult pool during the daytime. LOL

All of us (except maybe DH... but he doesn't like us to talk about his thinning hair ) have really really thick hair... they could pull half our hair out, literally, and we still wouldn't have thin hair!

Well, I don't actually have any useful information for you, but that has never deterred me before . . .

I have boys with crew cuts so we don't do hair braiding. However, I have long, obnoxiously thick hair, so the braid ladies literally chase me around the various ports with dollar sign where their eyes should be.

I bet you would have 2 pages of answers in under 2 hours if you are willing to venture to the main board. Just make sure you leave a trail of rum to find your way back to us.
