speaking of that i still have a new bath tub faucet set sitting on my work bench in the basement told dw it will have to wait for spring now as the wall has to be opened up to install

My DD has been waiting two years for DH to put the new showerhead in her bathroom. (it's already bought and sitting under her sink and has been the whole time)

Yes Holy Family! Do you know what the name of the subdivision they are in is called? I know she was shocked by the prices down here.....

She was shocked by prices. They ended up with a house that is about 3500 sq. ft. I think it was in the neighborhood of $650,000. So, that isn't too bad compared to prices up here.

I think I'd remember the name of the sub if I heard it.....

They have not been back since Lisa put us in time out for discussions regarding the clothing impaired Rugby players and their utencils....

I've heard mixed reviews on Hollywood & Vine. Have you considered Momma Melrose's Fantasmic instead?

We did NOT like H&V at all last year. DS wouldn't even eat the chicken nuggets they had there. They looked overcooked & greasy. He ended up not eating anything.

Time off? First of all, why aren't they paying for your time off AND for the exams...it benefits them, no? My exam was on a Saturday but they paid for my refresher class and the exam fee (but only if you pass ). Only the one exam, 5 hours long...recert in 3 years. But now they may want me to get another cert and that exam is in June

Well...yes it is part of my career track (just not for my government job). I'm sitting for 3 of the 5 exams for RLA (registered Landscape Architect) Why? well, it's always been my goal...so even though i'm in planning. It is one of my career goals.

So the local government won't pay for it or to keep my registrations active.
The first three exams, i paid for when i was still out in the private sector working last year. Since i paid, i might as well take them. There are two more exams to take but they are the hardest and aren't multiple choice.

UPDATE: good news...The ice melted enough by afternoon that my DH got my car out of it's ice prison..... Now i will be able to get out later this week when i'm cleared to drive....

BTW Deb.... You'll have to tell me the +/- of having a moped. I only live 4 miles from work and i'm dying to get one. Hoping for spring 08.

I could be so much closer to being caught up if I actually got to keep that hour and a half to my self. But alas, DH came home a few minutes later and wanted to go on e-bay... Bought an air conditioner unit and large desk that has to be picked up in NY. I volunteered... anyone live near Spring Glen??
