DW returned from the pharmacy...she said the Dr surmises it's the altitude combined with a lack of sufficient water intake...

Just examining the plant. Measuring roots leaves, dirt analysis, wight etc. that sort of stuff, I think.

we have to do the scientific method type....where they test does something do something better than type of thing...this year we are just testing buoyancy in salt water vs regular - maybe also vs oil or alcohol....taking the easy/quick route this year. The last two years we have done more involved projects - last year built a hydroponic system. It was fun, but time consuming growing the plants and all that...going to take it easy this year....

I just bought a fish extender from ebay since I couldn't find one at the Christmas tree shop. The only problem is, it's too wide so I think I might cut it down & resew it. I'm not very crafty & I don't know how to use a sewing machine, but I might be able to hand sew it.

I couldn't find any at Christmas Tree shop either! that one would have been nice to start with - and add to....oh well....

Yes Lorri love the tag! Um apparently she/he has NOT forgotten! I did try to let he/she know that I meant it in the most loving terms. Ya know like the creature Tinkerbell. I mean she is not quite human right? More like a little beautiful lovely creature?

I think there's STILL too much going on here for me to keep up with! I leave for an hour...OK, fine it was more than an hour...But I HAD to take an extended lunch because I stepped outside with my coat on, and I had to take it off!!!! It's a BEE-YOOTY of a day out there! The snow and ice are pretty much ALL melted, the sun is shining, not a cloud in sight, and the birds are singing, and I think I suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder...

I am just this very second realizing that I feel like a new person just because the sun's out and the weather's so nice! I think I've been sorta kinda down in the dumps lately, and it's due in part to the crappy weather we've been having!

Wow I feel like I've made a HUGE breakthrough!

It's nice to hear that your feeling good. Send some of that weather East please.

Okay this is my one contribution to cruise knowledge........

Okay the ship anchors offshore and tenders in when able to the marina a indicated in the notch. If you choose not to do a DCL excursion and you simply go ashore to the dock you will find MANY (thousands) of people wanting to take you on an excursion and bargain with them because we went from $30 pp for the tour I will describe to $20 for 6 of us. $180 to $20.

Our tour which is a pretty common one because all of the boats followed the same course....was by pelican rock, seal rock, to Los Arcos dropped us off at Lovers Beach which is what you see below and then came back and picked us up and dropped us at either the pier or at the main swimming and sports beach which as you can see is just across the bay. It is called Medano. Downtown is between the pier and the beach zone. San Jose Del Cabo is out of town almost around the bend there.

I believe Cabo Wabo is downtown but my favorite that I will post next is on Medano beach where you look out over the ship and Los Arcos.Thisis the only swimming beach that is safe. They told us NEVER to go in on the Pacific side because the undertow was incredible. When you are at Lovers Beach you can walk through over to the Pacific and the waves had to be 10 feet so it is NOT a place for kids...DCL's hotel excursion takes you to a hotel called the Finestra (don't know if I spelled that correct) but it is on the cliffs in the pacific. It is great for pool lounging only........Do no t expect to swim in the ocean if you go on this.......

Other activities which some of the people enjoyed were :
1. deep sea fishing
2. a kayak tour of the bay and seals....
3. horseback riding on the beach
4. shopping downtown......

I know Stacey got a catamaran for the day. There are really alot of opportunities here.

Boy that brings back memories- scary ones. Even though Megan (Caroline Megan really) was born at 1 lb 5 ozs 10 years ago, 13 years and 2 pounds is pretty incredible. I read today where the smallest baby born at less than 23 weeks went home today. She was born at 10 ozs!!!! and they expect no long term problems. Amazing.
They would not even give me steroids until 24 weeks as they did not want a baby that breathed on their own but was not sustainable.
We celebrate Megan's Birthday and the day she came home from the hospital and she was finally ours.
Happy Birthday Sarah! You earned it.

With all of the catching up I was doing yesterday, I never got to telling my story with Sarah. She was born 13 weeks early, just shy of 2 lbs, and stayed in the hospital for 10 weeks. She had her ups and downs before she came home, but she is a very intelligent, put together young lady now. But that may be changing all too soon as she turns 13 today!

Both of you will have to get together with my DW and swap stories. She is an NICU nurse (24yr now). Glad to hear such success stories, 27weeker is pretty small. We get a fair number of 24-32 weekers in our unit and you never know how they are going to turn out. We have had a 23 weeker not to long ago that finally went home as well. DW could tell you, but I think that the smallest ones are maybe 6-9oz. She has seen a lot of wonderful success stories and many tragedies.

Mine is just like that, only blue. E-Bay also. I didn't cut mine down, and it works okay. I like the deep pockets....they hold more goodies!

We saw the show also. It has been the topic of conversation with my dh and myself all day. We just can't believe there are people that eat "raw" food--all day everyday! And what's up with waking up the whole family in the middle of the night to have them drink a yogurt/sour milk concoction??? And how can you not send you kids to school or home school. I almost felt sorry for that family since they were so out of touch with reality.

I asked Mr. Enna, and he said he'd never let someone invoke the "Must eat raw meat" rule in our home.


In the end, I was impressed that both families left the table meeting laughing & joking about the experience.

I like your extender. I think I'll make my own in a Mickey/pirate theme. You can make just about anything with iron-on hem tape.
