Oh I can always use sewing tips. If FGM can offer an easy way to recreate it, I still might try it. But I don't want to fool with it & ruin it.

With all of the catching up I was doing yesterday, I never got to telling my story with Sarah. She was born 13 weeks early, just shy of 2 lbs, and stayed in the hospital for 10 weeks. She had her ups and downs before she came home, but she is a very intelligent, put together young lady now. But that may be changing all too soon as she turns 13 today!

Aw, it's very cute just how it is. Too bad it's to wide. Good luck on the sewing. Maybe FGM can give you some tips.

I'm pretty good at reverse sewing. I think you could take the pockets off and then line them up vertically and it would be fine, but as already posted it looks okay on the fishy in the hallway.

Speaking of sewing, I am at a stand still with my london shade project. I am seeking opinions from another group I am on to see if it looks okay as is. I would really hate to reverse sew this one.

I just bought a fish extender from ebay since I couldn't find one at the Christmas tree shop. The only problem is, it's too wide so I think I might cut it down & resew it. I'm not very crafty & I don't know how to use a sewing machine, but I might be able to hand sew it.

What is a "Fish Extender" for?

Well I know Lisa said the tag fairy has been busy here & is now tired, but will eventually be back. I have never really thought I would be considered for a tag since I don't post a heck of a lot. At least I didn't until this thread. Now I can't shut up! But suddenly when everyone around you seems to be getting them....it's a little lonely sitting here tagless. Nice might work, since p****ing them off doesn't seem to help! Good luck!

They hang on the fish outside your stateroom door for the reasons Stace mentioned above.

Just examining the plant. Measuring roots leaves, dirt analysis, wight etc. that sort of stuff, I think.

we have to do the scientific method type....where they test does something do something better than type of thing...this year we are just testing buoyancy in salt water vs regular - maybe also vs oil or alcohol....taking the easy/quick route this year. The last two years we have done more involved projects - last year built a hydroponic system. It was fun, but time consuming growing the plants and all that...going to take it easy this year....

DD has to follow the scientific method too. We get a whole packet with experiement ideas and titles. The PTO purchases the science boards and we usually have 3 people from the local Marathon refinery come and judge. This is the first year dd will be judges. They will get metals. If it is a demonstration the kids get marked down, it has to be an experiment.

I think you have to concentrate on having fun and not the tag fairy and then she will pop in with a surprise once in a while to brighten everyone's day....... I honestly don't think she wants everyone mad at her for something that is meant to be fun and a treat........

Nah I wouldn't be mad at the tag fairy. Was just kidding about groveling & bribing. I know a lot of people don't have them yet.

But I don't think you want to go there with the rugby talk either!
