I probably going to be tease here but what is Bunco...:confused3 :confused3

I was wondering the same thing! I think I've heard something about it, it's a game women play I think. I wonder if it's like Mah Jong (sp?)

I started to post this once and got knocked off, so I'm trying again.

Don't feel bad Liz, I had never heard of it either, so I did a Google search: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunco
Sorry guys, we play with 8 wenches. You can play with more, but it is 4 to a table. Each table has 3 die. You begin rolling for 1's until one of table 1's partners hit 21. Everytime you roll a 1 it counts as 1 and you keep rolling until you miss. 3 of a kind counts for 5 and 3 of a kind on the number you are on is a bunco=21 points and a punch on your card. You switch tables and partners everytime you change numbers.

It is a very fast and easy game , you can talk and goof off while you play. At the end of the night we have $$ for 1,2,3 place as well a ****y and also the last person to roll a bunco of the night.

Hopefully I don't have you more confused. But we really have a fun time. Catch you all in a few hours.

Paolo Dinner: Is it worth skipping a dining room dinner?
We would hate to miss out in the dining room?

I know we have time to think and we may not even get the ressie....what are all your thoughts?

Yes, Palo is worth skipping a dinner in the dining room...especially when we have 15 days to enjoy it. Brunch is a must! :thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh, another youngster..........sorry but I would like to be in my 30's again, so I'm just jealous :rotfl: SK8....don't say you're 20 something, I'll cry. :lmao:

O'Blender love it!!

I don't want to EVER repeat my 20s again...some really bad stuff there. 30s were magical & the 40s have been good for the past week. ;)

Okay so Andy mentioned his blue suede wedding shoes and remember I wanted to post my wedding pic. Now I know I am about 5,000 post too late, But what the heck.

Pirate shopping report. The reason that I am so insanely behind in reading posts is due to trips to WM & Tarjay this afternoon with DD. WM was CRAZY!!! We needed milk & OJ though & I decided to stock up on some of the basics for the next month so that I don't need to do that again for a while. A mounding cart & over an hour later we were checking out. Next was TJ. I haven't been there for a week so made the rounds. The earrings that I have been keeping an eye on for the past 3 weeks were down to 75%...just there waiting for me. :) Formal night dahling! Beautiful crystal dangly things. :) Girls had the Vday stuff 75%...and though I know that it will probably go to 90% tomorrow...I just don't want to mess with it. So...I picked up a ton of t-****s for DD. One of them has a monkey on it!!! She will proudly wear it on the cruise. ;) Some scooters to go with them & we were done in that department. Back to the holiday stuff & we pickedd up a few more things that were marked down...Princess vday cards and a t-**** for me too. DS is happy as well because I found a Marvel comic at 50% for him with Xmen...and is reading it right now. The last thing that DD found proves that she is a bargain hunter at heart like her mama. We were in the toy department & she saw a puppy in the stuffed animals. It had a heart tag on it so she said LOOK IT'S ON SALE! She ran off to the scanner & reported that it was 1 . 2 4 and said sale. ;)

Everything is scanned, put away, & dinner is cleaned up so now I can try to catch up here.

That's some GREAT shopping Lisa! Everything is better when it's on SALE!!

Breaking your DD in right as well :thumbsup2

24 is Jeff Gordon who is a Nascar driver and most people dont like ...But I do ....Always daring to be different , Always a Pirate

pirate:

Gordon's rookie season was the year & met DH. I couldn't believe that anyone would want to sit for hours & watch cars go around a track. When his parents visited they would BLARE the sound so it was like you were at the darn track. :sad2: Well, when I realized that DH was a keeper, I figured that I may as well make an attempt to understand NASCAR. I started asking questions. It started making sense to me & the strategy was interesting when it came down to the dynamics. NEVER thought that would happen to me. LOL! Anyhow, I decided to root for him because he was new to it and seemed to be genuinely excited about winning...which he did A LOT of that season and the next. :) I hated DE because of his attitude & the fact that he was always pushing people around on the track...literally...kind of ironic that is how he died.

I thought BUNCO was woman-speak for "drinking game". Then again, I thought Bible Study was secret code for "coffee club".

MR....I thought about you this morning and wondered...

do you miss the website? ;) :lmao:

Awww!!! You look lovely. Hubby looks a little like Tom Selleck.

He actually looks like Tom Skerritt........but he'll love it when I tell him Tom Selleck!!

What's wrong with this picture.....I have 1202 posts on this thread and only 19 posts on the 9/1/08 cruise meets thread???

It looks like you have your priorities in order IMO. Besides there are many of your fellow 9/1/08 cruisers here too. :thumbsup2

I do the same. We had over $400 in Disney Rewards for our cruise in December and we started late using it. We'll probably be near the $750 yearly limit this time since we are using it for everything, including school tuitions. As long as keep up with the charges, no interest to be paid. Discipline, discipline, discipline.

Yep, gotta lose those Disney Dollar Rewards!!! :thumbsup2

Miss Lisa...I have taken to PMing people asking them for their NAMES!! People are starting to avoid me :lmao: JK, JK I am only PMing for legit things (and while I'm asking, I ask for their names) ;)

So YES.....I realllllly miss the website!!!!!!

Maybe that's why O'Blender is getting hostile.....website withdrawal :rotfl: :rotfl:

It is actually quite exciting. For those who know about youth hockey, DS6 is a Mini-mite (5-6yo), they play across 1/3 of the ice, no real rules , all action stops for line changes, etc. Well, they have won all of their games by at least 10 this year (don't keep score at this level, but every kid on the ice & parent in the stands knows the score :rolleyes1). So we entered them in this tournament as Mites (7-8yo) -full ice games, line changes mid play, offsides & icing calls, etc. Gosh darn it if they didn't win their first 2 games! (9-1 & 4-1). Their first full-ice game EVER was a 9-1 win! The best analogy I can come up with is imagine a t-ball team of 5-6yo, playing real baseball against a teams of 7-8yo where you don't automatically advance to the next base, you can strike out , etc. & WINNING! We are having a blast this weekend! Althoug I feel bad for the teams they are beating.

That is SO COOL! If you can keep those kids together for a few years just imagine how good they will be when they are actually the right age. :cheer2:

I used to sub for my mom's group - back when I was in High School - I am not sure how much they appreciated though, because I always seemed to nab first prize!!!!:)
