8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 6

I have T-**** story too. My 28 year old nephew is almost like a son to us. His mom (my sister) passed away when he was just 10 years old and he has always been very close to us. He has worked for my DH since he was 18 and we include him in most of our family outings. I wish we could bring him on this trip, but he is in charge of running our business while we are away.

Last Easter we decided to take a short cruise from L.A. to Baja California. Since it was a short trip and our business was closed, we surprised him with the trip. We had told him to pack some casual clothes and formal clothes. While packing, he was so focused on packing his formal wear that he forgot to pack the stack of shirts he had folded and ready to go in the suitcase. He realized it as soon as we were underway. He ended up buying a couple of shirts onboard but when we got to Ensenada we found a great T-**** store where he bought a whole bunch of shirts for $5 each.

We still give him a hard time every time we see him in one of his Ensenada specials!

He such a great guy. So thoughtful and handsome, but just very, very shy around females! I keep hoping he'll meet someone special, but I try not to interfere (too much). He will make some lucky girl a great husband one day if he ever gets up enough nerve to actually speak to a girl!

Our Target here in VA has a lot of Disney stuff in their dollar spot - makes great stocking stuffers and "extra" gifts or even for the Easter basket. They have POC lanyards, pencils, wallets, notebooks. They has CARS and Princess pencils, pens, wallets, notebooks and some other items. Go shopping and have fun!!

Thanks. I keep planning to Photoshop in a halo over DD's head in that one because she looks so angelic. It's the only time she ever has. Usually, she looks like this:

when my DD was five - she looked just like that at Cinderella's Castle breakfast - we ended up buying her one of Tink "bad attitude" shirts by the end of the day!!! We made a very big deal about finding the PERFECT shirt for her!!!!we picked on her endlessly that day - and every time she wore the shirt after that!!!

Yes! DW is pretty much the same way! Here's a photo of our motley crew on semi-formal night...she's not gonna be happy about this so shhhhhh everyone DON'T TELL HER 'cause she's the red-head Italian and I don't want to buy new dishes!

PJ & I were tearing up during the kid's graduation last cruise. We were both bawling by the end of Dreams. Just a warning for y'all.

oh good!!! I'm not the only one....but I always try to hide the tears so no one around me will notice (and DD won't make fun of me!!!!)- but maybe if we all sit together...I can just let it go!!!!!

We were thinking about this machone too. Our Best Buy did not have one on display so we really could not consider it seriously. Then... I figure if I was to get a pinball machine I would want a REAL one... only problem is I dont want to pay a REAL price! So are we gonna get either one anytime soon... Hmmm What do you think?

But at $200 it is fairly inexpensive IF the kids (or grown up kids) get enuf fun out of it!

Anyone have one of these? Anyone seen one set up yet?
