This is a pic of my extended family on our 8/06 cruise. This is both of my Sisters and their families. Needless to say our Mom loved the pic! Unfortunately, our Brother and his family are missing.

That is a great pic MR. Whenever we have planned an extended family trip--there always ends up being someone missing.

What a nice momento of that vacation, MR!

So true!! DH and DS really always seem to buy a lot of shirts. I always collect a gold charm for my charm bracelet from each port.

Paula, are you joining me in bouncing back and forth from the 9-1-08 thread and this thread this afternoon??? :rotfl2:

Do boys or hubby's every have enough t-shirts . . .?? On our last cruise, I decided to only bring 1/2 as many t-shirts as they would wear so we could just purchase them as suveniors as we went. It worked great. I think on this cruise, I won't bring many at all . . .LOL:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

We did that on last trip to WDW - I only brought enough for two days and then we bought the rest (and bought and bought and bought).

What a lovely photo MR! We can barely get a good photo of our immediate family, let alone extended family. I can see why your Mom loves it!

Just 20 pages to catch up on, that's all!

OMG! I can't believe that you would think a mere 2 minute lag in conversation can be called quiet!!!!:rolleyes1
Well it seemed longer at the time? :lmao:

Yikes, I just realized I'll be 2 weeks shy of 48 when the Magic docks back in Florida. Hmmm I think that's close enough to celebrate my B'day while on board :yay:

Andy
Well in that case, so is mine! (my birthday is about 2wks before the cruise). We can celebrate our birthdays together!

Black is not my favorite color either. I do not look good in black!!!:rotfl2: I am not in mourning:lmao: :lmao:

I REALLY LIKE THE COLOR OF PURPLE!!!!

Hmm, reconsidering the red for purple t-*****. I do like purple....

Okay well you know everybody's going to shake your hand & then look down at your feet! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I know I am! :rotfl:

Why yes....I am not used to being "caught up" and I can only play so much spider solitaire waiting to see what these pirates are going to say.

Great photo MR - I'm lucky to get one of the three of us, never mind extended family! Though because it is only my brother and I on my side it isn't hard - now on DH's, there are a total of 5 kids and 13 grandkids with us all over the country. We thought we could do something at my in-laws 50th a few years ago but my one SIL refused to attend because we didn't do the party on their anniversary :confused3.

Golly . . I think I watch too much CSI . . I thought your brother had "left the country" kind of missing . . .not just missing from the photo . . .LOL:lmao::lmao::lmao:

God gave me blonde hair for a reason. Intellect can NOT hide it . . .:scared1:

By the way, we went on a 7 day land/sea with my ENTIRE extended family (I am the oldest of 8 and only one sibling didn't make it). We didn't take ANY group photos on the whole trip . . .DH and I didn't realize it until we are on the airplane home . . .LOL

Off to dinner at my mom's and then (hopefully) some grocery shopping. See ya later!

I have T-**** story too. My 28 year old nephew is almost like a son to us. His mom (my sister) passed away when he was just 10 years old and he has always been very close to us. He has worked for my DH since he was 18 and we include him in most of our family outings. I wish we could bring him on this trip, but he is in charge of running our business while we are away.

Last Easter we decided to take a short cruise from L.A. to Baja California. Since it was a short trip and our business was closed, we surprised him with the trip. We had told him to pack some casual clothes and formal clothes. While packing, he was so focused on packing his formal wear that he forgot to pack the stack of shirts he had folded and ready to go in the suitcase. He realized it as soon as we were underway. He ended up buying a couple of shirts onboard but when we got to Ensenada we found a great T-**** store where he bought a whole bunch of shirts for $5 each.

We still give him a hard time every time we see him in one of his Ensenada specials!

That is awful.

Great family photo...

Our Target here in VA has a lot of Disney stuff in their dollar spot - makes great stocking stuffers and "extra" gifts or even for the Easter basket. They have POC lanyards, pencils, wallets, notebooks. They has CARS and Princess pencils, pens, wallets, notebooks and some other items. Go shopping and have fun!!

We play Bunco third tues of each month - this tues is PJ night - yahoo. Have a few drinks at bunco and come home and jump right into bed - aahhhh!
OK, you really play in your PJ's? Ours is the 3rd Sunday. We are always done by 9 pm so our DHW fans can watch. It is all neighbors so we can walk. We have been playing for almost 10 years.
My mom is in a group that is on their 43 year. Of course they don't play anymore--just eat, talk and eat.
