I wish it only cost $12.95 for a haircut for me - last Friday it was $70 for cut and all-over color and yesterday it was another $30 for a few highlights and a blow-out! Add it tips and I spent $120 on my hair - yikes!

Yeah I can totally relate. Spent 140 last week myself. But let me warn all you who have teenage daughters. DON'T let them color their hair. It starts out innocent enough but then you end up in Beauty Salon Hades. I made that mistake and it cost me a fortune several time over to make her happy. The hightlights were beautiful, but not to her. The dark red was temporary but not dark enough. The black was great to her but too black for her mom. The blond was awesome to both because it wasn't black!!! But it cost way to much to keep up. So we are back to just the "as close to natural" color for now. Still not great but she will have to be content as we have a Disney Cruise to pay for and can't afford the whims of a teenager anymore.

Beauty Salon Hades! :rotfl:

Thanks for the words of wisdom. I'll have to keep that in mind when my DD reaches that age.

Well, it may not be as bad as I thought. This morning after sleeping on it I ran the brush thru it & it fell more forward like it use to on its own. It is still too short but unlike the mushroom cut before our wedding, this one seems to have been cut well....it just isn't for me. I should feel better in a month or so since the shorter layers will be longer & weigh a bit more so wont be as poofy as they are now. I don't like the "big hair" look.

Well I'm glad it's better today Lisa!

Big Hair is what I miss most from the 80's. By the time it comes back, I'll be wearing a granny bun. A BIG granny bun :lmao: :lmao:

Remember that you volunteered when you're having one of those, "Don't leave me with the babies" moments.

i actually don't mind watching the little ones. My hasn't been little for awhile and we don't PLAN to have anymore of our own. I wish i could see my nephew more but they live in Philly and that makes it hard.

Ummm....I was referring to an outlet and one of those big orange extension cords.

As for your floor, tell your hubby that the average kitchen floor needs to be replaced every 10 years. You are 2 years overdue for a new floor. :wizard:

Oh Enna, you don't give yourself enough credit. Extension cords are just to hide your really power. :goodvibes

My kids know where to put the syrup. My husband still doesn't. He asks one of the kids to put it away.

Enna you GOT A TAG!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! I love it!

Its sad ...I have more planned for this trip then I do the Med Repo coming up in 6 months ...LOL

Lucky you, my DD is out getting highlights put in her hair at this very moment. I keep trying to tell her, if she keeps it up, her hair is going to start falling out. I guess she will be looking like Brittany Spears soon. :rotfl:

Hi everyone! I was out on the town with the girls last night, so I am just trying to get caught up here. In honor of the pirates I did order a rum based martini, (or piratini). It was called a Caribbean Dream and it was so yummy!
In fact it was so yummy I had more than one!:woohoo:

(Said in my best Zsa Zsa Gagor) But you're worth it DAHLING........

not sure... mine is 13 now and will be 14 by the cruise.
I wonder how much it would cost to have her stay in your room... seriously, I'd probably save a BUNDLE. hmmmm, you serious?

My dd is 13 now too. (she has a May b-day so will be 15 for cruise)
We are a cat 10. i think we paid 1,099or 1,199 for my dd as a fourth (at first tier). Not sure if a 4th now would get added at same price.

i have transfers added to our party right now but if we get a good bus rate for DL to the port i'll cancel them.

Ok...don't flame me, but I have never stayed at a WDW hotel:rolleyes1 . I also have never been to DL. Anyway, I understand you are right on the property and can get early admission to parks, but are there any other incentives to staying at a WDW or DL hotel? I have a Starwoods card and can get free nights at the Sheratons that are nearby, but just curious if there's a motivation that would cause me to forgo a free stay at a Sheraton and pay for a DL hotel? :confused3

Nope, not really any perks for staying onsite. And any of the multi day hoppers have 1 early entry. It's just that if you stay onsite you can get early entry on any day that has it. Only 3 days out of the week, and I can't remember what days those are. Go ahead and use the Starwood points. But the only drawback of the Sheratons in the area is that they are not walkable....well maybe the newest one on Harbor, but it would be a far walk at the end of the day.

I like Brittany's new cut ....yum yum ..LOL (just kidding....the pics of her on the net a few months ago made me say NO WAY ) but she now has that Sinead Oconnor thing going on now ....

playing ketchup...again

Under the category "all things lead back to the repo thread"....

woke up this morning, a plow had broken down in front of OUR house and a big rig thing had come to tow it away....the name painted on the side of the rig:.....
"QUICK HOOK"
