ROFL!!! That was perfect when Todd's computer was acting up! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oy! I think I am about 3000 posts behind. Not as bad as thought being away for more than two days. Apparently I had an ovarian cyst that burst so I was in the ER on Tuesday night. Feeling almost back to normal today.:thumbsup2 Now to try and find where I left off....

:scared1:  Get better Caroline and take care

Gee, Another Laura on this cruise? I must have missed that. What's her screen name? I am really bad with names and have been only going by our screen names except for the few I can remember.

I don't know????? :) I couldn't match up the email & don't know if it is different from what she sent in before.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Oh, no- hope everything is OK.....sending you some cyber chicken soup

Both of my kids need that shirt! :lmao: DS has fallen down & up the stairs before.

We always joked that my mom could trip over the pattern in a rug.
Then she broker her ankle walking in our garage. The garage floor was 4 concrete slabs - she tripped over the 1/2' gap between slabs.
Yeah, we laughed at her. We were that type of family.

I have made a decision! :sad2:

I can not read every post on this thread and keep up. There are too many and I only have a limited amount of time to DIS each day. (I know heresy but ....) :upsidedow

Therefore ..... I will read the summary that is provided each week and when I get to read (hopefully at least 5 days a week) I'll go back 100 or so posts to catch up that far. If something really important comes up maybe someone can PM me. (banana stuff and such)

This is a great thread but it is wild. When we get on the ship I'll catch up with everyone. :grouphug:

Just dont forget where you hid the RUM this time Mr.Gibbs

You know, that's not too far from the truth....

We had company over one night and they left very late, like 2am. I had some candles lit on the fireplace mantel that I had forgotten to blow out, and we went to bed. Now, I have candles lit in the house on a daily basis....so Beau is very used to them. But shortly after going upstairs to our bedroom that night, we heard him barking up a storm. We were worried that maybe he saw someone just outside our house or something, maybe trying to break in. We came back downstairs to find him standing right in front of the fireplace staring at those candles.....he knew that they shouldn't have been left burning! Now, if that's not a smart dog.....I don't know what a smart dog is!!!!:goodvibes

I wont cancel ...But I will commondeere the microphones .....They better not be there ...

My background is in electronics so we can hack into the PA system to prevent this travesty

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I honestly never knew what it actually meant since we ALL know I AM NOT A BLABBERMOUTH!!! I just see it all the time and added a rough translation. Can you tell I grew up on the Mexican border?????

Yep, and can you see I grew up in Allston (outskirts of Boston) :scared: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi everyone. Just found this site while doing a search for this cruise. This will be my 3rd DCL cruise. Did a 4 day Land/Sea back in 2000 and a 7 day Eastern last year. I'm really looking forward to going through the Panama Canal. I hope I don't have to read all 20,000 plus posts. That would take me until cruise time. :)

Maggie

:welcome: Aboard Mate

Be sure to check out page 1 for plenty of info and if you like please add the Banner to your siggy line ...Or you may be Walkin the Plank

Thank you for all of your thoughts and well wishes.:goodvibes I really do feel a lot better today (but we don't have to let DH know that! :rolleyes1 ) It was very scary when this horrible, non-stop pain just came out of no where. Of course the doctors weren't much help in figuring out what it was. AFter I had a CAT scan, they still weren't sure. Thought it was the start of a virus maybe because my white count was up. Ummm, I don't think so. It wasn't until the next day when a nurse called me and let me know what a second look at the scan showed.

Oh Man, how scary.

Wow a cyst bursts and you are only away two days!

Put your feet up, relax and perhaps demand chocolate!

Did you guys get hit with that much?

Not much snow, that's part of the frustration! We had freezing rain right after a few inches of snow. Maryland doesn't know how to handle snow. My aunt came down from New York after one of our larger storms a few years ago. She said it was a good thing my uncle hadn't come also. He would have hijacked a snow plow and shown them how to do it right. Her favorite image was finding a broken down salt truck that had been plowed around and left. It's interesting to see the differences in snow removal from state to state. When we were in Maine, we would have laughed at the snowfall here causing school closings at all, let alone for three days!
