Waaay waaaay back, before I became a DW and DMama, I used to bake from scratch...sifting flower, room temp butter and eggs, pure vanilla extract, etc. I pretty much focused on cookies. Over time and through moving, a lot of my recipes have gotten lost. So, instead of cheating with the slice and bake dough, I do semi-homemade. That's got to count for something, doesn't it?

Crisco will make a cookie more crumbley and flakey like pie crust, less soft and chewy.

Well , Just got a call from the DS 5's school , guess he puked in class so I have to run to pick him up ...He said he had a tummy ache this morning so I gave him a lil Pepto ...guess he wasnt trying to get out of school after all (you know how kids can be ) Anyway I will be in and out through out the day ...

Pepto is terribly freiendly to kids....

My DD always puked when i gave her pepto...

Needless to say i learned my lesson after the second time...

My DD can only take it in the pills that you can swallow, not the chewables or liquid. Yeeecccccchhhh!
