Week 0 has been a little blah, but Week 1 looks like the best Week 1 ever headlined by Texas v. Ohio State and LSU v. Clemson.

And the Texas v. Ohio State game will see the College Football world say goodbye to the Gameday legend Lee Corso.

The only negative about College Football starting is it signals the beginning of the end of Summer!

I will pay attention....alas I have the best team in baseball to worry about.... diamondbacks don't hibernation till November...oh...I went under today on Fresno game... but I don't gamble sports anyhow as poor Warner didn't perform the hype...poor kid with his dad's legacy which I didn't know until today

It was definitely time for Corso to go.

Just moved my DD into her freshman dorm, so college-related stuff has been on my mind lately. Sadly, she is not attending an SEC school, and football isn't big on her campus. Consequently, I'm really looking forward to opening weekend, Geaux Tigers!

Coach Corso is truly one of a kind! What a wonderful ESPN tribute clip filled with heartfelt gratitude for his lasting impact and presence in college football.

GO TROJANS!

PAC 12.... that is a whole lot of state
Fresno St. has been trying to get into the Pac12 for decades.... They finally do..... When it's no longer a major conference. LOL.

Traveler looks awesome.

Since I live on the outskirts of a SEC college town (Athens Ga home of the Georgia Bulldawgs), football season is not my favorite time of year. We live in the country and in order to get out of our subdivision, we have to go on to one of the major highways going into town, which is impossible on football Saturdays, and lately the day before as well. We just hunker down (get it Georgia) and don't leave the subdivision until Monday. One good thing is hubby does spend the day watching SEC football so I go upstairs and get to spend the day by myself.

PS - I have nothing against UGA, my Daddy, one of my brothers, my son, my DIL all graduated from there and I used to work there. You just have to learn to stay far away from campus and the down town area on football Saturdays (or any Friday or Saturday night, or any time during the day while school is in session when classes are changing).
