1) What is your FAVORITE SMELL???

2) What are you having/HAD for Dinner tonight?

3) If you could have ANYTHING for dinner tomorrow - what/where would it be?

4) If you could fly anywhere for a day - one day - all expenses paid - where would you go - what would you do if naming ONE thing while on this travel fling?

5) Who is your FAVORITE Disney Character?

6) What is your favorite number - if yo have one?

7) What is your astrological sign? Gotta find an image to post if you're handy at things like that too!

1) This is pretty simplistic... but among my favs are the Cinnebon stores, Fresh Cookies when my sweet spouse makes' em, and I'll say... cinnimon sticks in hot apple cider

2) Steaks and Chicken, Rice and Mixed Veggies (frozen), Marie Callandars' Bannana Cream pie for dessert... they're runnin' a $4.99 special on any non-cheese cake pie this month.

3) I would like to run down to Lawry's Prime Rib for supper if I could - but I'll be out of town tomorrow evening - so it's not happenin'.

4) My spouse and I still love Paris... and we would just want to arrive in the early morning - do a full day wanderin' around randomly ... try new places for meals then come home on the last possible flight out....

5) Jessica Rabbit... she's a riot!

6) I actually don't have a "favorite"... but I can simply say "lucky 7"

7) Aries -

Awww, we wouldn't ignore you. Atleast not on purpose!
Today I'm having a bit of a lag/slow loading on this website (only- for some reason), so I'm still quite far behind on the pages. Maybe that's what it is happening with everyone and they haven't read your posts yet?

Nah don't worry about it! This thread moves so fast I don't expect people to respond to every post. I was just being a smart a** really! ;)

Cool - we have something in common! DS also has a huge head. Did you have trouble with clothing sets when she was smaller? The type of thing that came with a cute hat that didn't have a prayer of fitting? I have been getting him adult size hats for ages and he is only 7!

pdarrah (Pamela)

Most of the outfits with hats had an elasticized band or stretched. The Gymbo sets I bought on Ebay I just got a larger hat to go with them. Both of the kids loved hats. :goodvibes

Thanks Diane and your son too! My DD started about 10 days as a run of the mill head cold/sore throat/headache and just when those symptoms seems to be passing Boom high fever/cough/body aches. I just saw a report yesterday that said an upper respiratory infection is above the neck (obviously) and when that goes to a cough with fever and body aches that that is how they decide it's the flu. I learned something new yesterday, and put it to immediate use today. Wish I didn't have to, but it made me bring DD to Dr. pronto!

Ah thanks MR that helps! He didn't get the cold symptons until after he had a fever & stomach ache. The fever only lasted about 24 hrs. & didn't complain of aches anywhere else so I wasn't too worried. I just don't want him to end up with a lung infection. He already has the upper respiratory infection. Duh on my part!

I am officially cool now. I got mentioned in a thread summary.:cool1:
Just noticed I never told anyone my name. It is Coral (like the pretty coral in the sea, or the poisonous snake- depends on my mood ;) ).

I try real replies too, but they always seem to get lost on the bottom of the previous page. Either that or I'm being ignored, but I like to think it's the former rather than the latter! ;) :)
In the last day or so I noticed the thread slowed down a LOT - down to a normal pace - and it was very reasonable to follow or jump into - especially if I were someone new to the community!

I'm in a normal lurk mode now - posting when I see fit.... We'll get to 20,000 eventually - and although I might get a few chuckles out of sprinting to 20K - I do have to make supper for the kids... <chuckles> ....

SO remember... I'll be LURKING and waiting in ambush for the 20,000th posting!!!!

Ya gotta...

TAKE WHAT YA CAN!!!!

Helloooooo Everyone!

Just got back from the Doctor, and guess what? My DD (17) has the FLU and her temperature is 105.1! I thought the Nurse was gonna Poop A Brick! She said that's unnaturally high. I said don't worry, we actually seen DD's temp at 106.7, of course she was 6 at the time. Anyway, she pretty miserable today, she's taking Tamiflu and Bioxin and we are on FLU alert around here! :sad2:

Hope you're all having a nice day!

Hope that your DD feels better soon! take good care of yourself too.

I keep going forward and then backward and then forward and then backward.:rolleyes1 It is really hard to keep up. I feel like I am always answering late but could be because I am cheap. I still use dial-up.:rotfl2:

I sent in my info.I am official...now maybe I can keep up on this thread (I don't actually count on it).

Since the thread was going so fast..I never so an answer to a question I had...have we decided on Diswear? Just so I can start planning!

thanks!

Desiree

I believe it was lime green for embarkation day and hot pink for the Panama Canal, right?

Seriously, there was a decision made and the Captain will be posting ordering information and giving an iron-on tutorial later as we get closer. Black for embarkation and white for the Canal. I imagine this will end up on page 1 when it is really official.

I do the same thing, but the sad thing is I have cable but it takes me so damn long to type that I'm always late in replying so by the time I do that subject has already been dropped & we're on to something else! :surfweb:

We were routinely getting the Hyatt for $69 and for the fun of it the last three times we've gone DH tried $59 and got it. We usually decide that day to go up so are bidding for same day check-in. I find that makes a huge difference in how low you can bid.

Michelle

I've gotten the Hyatt for $55 with about 1-2 week notice.

Same here Crash. I booked at about 8:30 a.m. EST and the prices showing up now are about $2500 more than what we booked our cat 9 quad for. Makes me glad I dragged my rear end out of bed at 4:30 a.m. DH thought I was completely nuts, but he is a believer now!

The price for our cat 8 went up 1600 from 8 am to 11:30 am on the 31st. It started at 7612.96. We booked at 8684.96 and it was at 9512.96 when it closed. This is for 2A2K no ins/trans.

But I wouldn't worry about that. Just bring the subject back up again. I am sure we are going to re-hash things over and over, but I didn't join until the half-way point and missed a bunch of stuff.

Don't sweat it...

If you're quoting someone in reply - there is that little tiny button that backs up to the last post - so folks can click back to make heads or tails of things. I am not shy about replying to things that are several pages back - especially if I see their green status light is on as that tells me they are on line now. AND - if it is really a juicy reply - but the poster is not on - then I send a link via PM to the recipient so they can find my reply. I only do that on rare occassion though.

Hope this is encouraging to you. The pace is not always as blistering as it may seem sometimes.... :confused3
