Good night all!!!

Those are some pretty wicked coasters, but how about these at Magic Mountain in Los Angeles (well Valencia really). Any coaster enthusiasts who are planning a few days at DL prior to the cruise should consider a trip to Magic Mountain as well. It's about 1 1/2 drive (could be less without traffic).
Just opened this year...Tatsu

After riding this, my son and I declared Tatsu our new curse word.
Then there's X the Xtreme Coaster....can't really describe this one, like nothing I've ever riden.

We did the dolphin swim in Alcapulco in 05. It was alot of fun. The price included an individual pic and video for all. I would recommend it.

Thanks again for the info!
So if the water is murky- I assume it is murky where they do the dolphin swim too? See I can't handle murky water while swimming with dolphins. I need to be able to see thru the water to make sure where the dolphins are (and where anything else, including tiny fish, might be near me).
I was thinking it would be clear water! ack!

When you say pinewood derby is it the little pinewood derby cars they make, or the kind they get INTO like someone showed a picture previously on this thread?Ah you should of went on over DH was there helping set-up.
Well Ryan won for the Tigers 1st place. His trophy is bigger than him. Devin was doing well, but lost it in the last few heats. He would up in a tie for 7th. BUT had a great time anyway.
I'm not much of an adventure junky. I was a tomboy as a child but a very careful one (ie: no stitches, no broken bones, etc. LOL I did the same stuff as my sister but she was always getting hurt-I was just "careful"). My husband is an adrenaline/adventure junky- but not me... I'm like the opposite of that. I like fun stuff that is SAFE (ie: rides at Disney for instance). So I guess I enjoy things that are fun and can be adrenaline pumping but only if I don't have to WORRY about what could go wrong/etc. Because worry I do... worrywart by nature.
I could probably handle rafting but the rest- forgettaboutit.
Snorkeling only bothers me because of the fish. I have a big phobia of sharks and water where sharks "might be". I grew up with Jaws and apparently it affected me. So I snorkel, but I get kinda panicky while I'm doing it.. I push thru the panicky feelings and do it- but I just don't think I could do the really deep water like with scuba diving and such and like swimming around under there with big fish and small sharks and stuff. When I snorkel, I can snorkel until someone mentions a barracuda nearby, for instance. Then it's all over for me at that point. LOL
If you are down by Mismaloya (sp?) Beach, the water is much clear (at least the last time I went to PV). If they do them down there, you may be fine.
In looking at the one I posted for ACA, it looks like it is in a small pool like facility. Looks too small for the dolphins.
Sorry Lisa, I haven't done those two, but I've done those chains and always had good luck. Clean and comfortable. I'd look at a map to see if they are "right across the street". We've seen some that say how close they are, but they're not. I would say if they are between the HoJo and Disney Way, you're right where you want to be. Even if you go as south as Katella, you should be in good shape.
We've only done the DL Hotel and I think it's the Howard Johnsons (Mousesavers had a good rate there and always seems to).
If I knew that the Dixie Chicks were going to win everything I would not have cheated on the board.
Honestly as bad as it sounds, I'd go for dolphins brought in a pool like area more than in their "natural habitat".![]()
Yes it was. The first area we were in I thought was on the small side that was where you really got do do a lot of touching , but you swam over to a larger area where they jumped and then took you for a ride. that was the weirdest feeling.Paula, was it at CiCi Aquatic Park?
We stayed there for one night last Sept. We really enjoyed it. The hotel is rather new. It is Not across the street from the Parks. It's more like 2 or 3 large blocks away. The rooms are comfortable. Here's a photo of the room I took. Only bad thing about the hotel, only one elevator. So it did take a few minutes to wait for the elevator.

Like you, I've tried to overcome my fear. The furthest I've gotten is snorkeling for short to longer periods of time. The first time I snorkeled was years ago in Cancun- and I was fine (a little freaked when a school of fish would come barreling towards my face, but fine nevertheless) until someone said there was a barricuda and you never saw someone climb out of the water on the "fake island" so fast in your life! LOLI wasn't a very careful ! Although now that I think about it, all my scars & dislocated whatnots came from the "girly" sport of figure skating!![]()
I'm going to give snorkeling another try in Hawaii next month. I figure if I don't enjoy it in Hawaii there is no use trying ever again.
Has anyone stayed at the Courtyard Anaheim at DL Resort on South Harbor Blvd? It says that it is right across the street from the park. Right now it is between that & the Fairfield Inn down the street. TIA.
Sounds like they were a little lenient or something with their description -for instance it is across the street (perhaps) but they fail to mention it's across the street and DOWN aways (a few blocks).Thank you! I would rather know what I am going to get. That isn't a big distance but from their description, I would have expected something else.
Eileen says can you pick her up if you pass near Olean ny![]()

Glad that I didn't watch.
