A lot of us were put on late dining, but wanted "Captain" dining (aka main seating). Evidently, DCL opened up Captain dining today so that we could switch. Word got out on the Dis boards and the gates were opened.

I think that they were referring to the shifts for deck 7. We figured that 600 DISers aren't going to fit on the secret verandah at one time so we should sign up.

Thank you- that's so sweet of you to offer! A few other people have PM'd me the same thing, so I'm getting the feeling that we shouldn't really worry all that much about our cat 6 and cat 11 are close, with that many people in cat 6 and everyone being so nice (ofcourse, DIS'ers are just that way... ) it might not be a problem! With your kids the ages they are, I assume you wouldn't mind if they weren't right across the hall eh? Atleast you wouldn't be worried about them if they weren't.
We won't mind if they aren't directly across the hall from us (our cat 11 I mean) but if it's like on a different deck all together..that's when we're going to have a problem. Our kids won't be that old! They will be 14, just turned 8 and 10. (and the 8yr old is only 6 right now, so I'm sure you can understand why I can't imagine my youngest at 6yr old ever being mature enough to be in a room on a different deck than our room! LOL She's my baby and she ain't ever growing up, if I can help it. Did I just say that out loud?)

If the 11 is on a different deck, someone with an 11 on deck 6 might be able to help out too.

One of my pet peeves is the lunch eater......Crunch Munch Slober, slurp ......all why they are talking to you........GROSS!!!!!

My other favorite is the Mom beating the crap out of the kids cause they are making noise while shes on the phone....................................

I agree. If you are going to work from home, silence the dog and kids ad turn down the TV. We have one woman who calls into a daily call every morning and you hear her dog barking in the background every morning.

I have extra pockets for batteries in the 100 pound backpack of booze! ............but if I bring a shoe organizer I could bring LOTS OF BATTERIES!!!!
