YW....remember that when I need to take a break. ;) Someone is going to have to keep up with the summaries.
What?
you take breaks? Say it isn't so!

(just kidding. I'll do it if'n you want)

I'm BIP?

Oh I'll be here at 60,000. count on it. I think. :rolleyes1 You know how I go in phases and disappear for awhile. LOL

Yes Ginny, A fruit hat for a REAL FRUIT! (or should I say FruitCake)

So let's see.....Fruit hat, lime green bracelet, black T-S***, white T-S***, Dis lanyard, Castaway Club lanyard, beaded lanyard bracelet, green lei, glow necklace, a battery-operated smoothie maker in one hand and a smoothie de-jour in the other and............I don't need to lose any weight, I gonna look like such a FREAK who'll notice that I'm fat too :rotfl: :rotfl:

MR

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I was laughing before I got to your last point...not at that at all. You will fit in well with the rest of us. ;) I don't understand why Shelley doesn't think that she will be able to find us in the terminal or onboard the first day at least. :lmao:

You can get headaches from caffeine withdrawal. Also, do they tend to occur in a cluster at certain times of the month? How about food triggers? It might help to keep a diary for a few weeks. But still call the doctor in the meantime! We need you pain free to keep up with all the postings!
Yeah but... I haven't even stopped drinking the soda yet! I had very little today but I haven't quit the soda until this very moment. So caffeine withdrawal wouldn't explain the headaches, KWIM?
(it's why I was putting off giving up the sodas because I figured the caffeine withdrawals would make the headaches WORSE)

They aren't appearing in clusters now. In the past when it was only occasional it seemed related to how much I used my eyes- if I was on the computer for hours on end, if I read a book for hours on end, etc. But lately it's been every day. It was mostly at nights -so I thought it was just the stress of all the kids stuff combined with being on the computer or whatever- but now the headaches are starting earlier in the day so that can't be it. Now I'm talking I wake up and an hour later of doing NOTHING my head starts to hurt. It started hurting this morning on the way to the field trip (and mind you, we can't go on the busses- all parents had to drive themselves)- so all I did was get the kids up for school.. nothing stressful, didn't get on the computer or anything, drove them to school and head off behind the buses around 9am and I felt it creeping up on me. I took 2 gotabs (tylenol 500mg each, I'm not sure if that is a strong dosage or not) -munched on those in the vehicle. Fortunately my head stopped hurting until early afternoon after I was home again. But even if i don't get migraines like someone else said- I hate WORRYING about it because it's like even with a mild headache, I'm waiting for it to turn into a full blown migraine. Yanno? It's getting where the mild headache or start of a headache is pretty constant, sometimes going full blown migraine.
So my point is now I can't find a cluster of time or food triggers or anything- because it's happening so often.
Things would probably be better if I got back on my diet. My skin was better, I slept better, no headaches, etc. back then... I'm probably major dehydrated right now too and I'm not sure if that has something to do with the headaches. But for about a month or two now I stopped drinking water at all and it was only recently I realized that all this time I've been ONLY drinking ONE 20oz soda (and not even finishing it each day) per day... that's it. That's not enough liquids... I have to be majorly dehydrated.

That's cute. My princess just came in and reminded me she didn't have dessert tonight. I told her it's a little late to ask me at 40 minutes past bedtime. You may

yours, but sometimes I want to

mine. :)

LOL! Is that the Jack talking? :lmao: DD did the same thing tonight. This is the 4th night that she hasn't eaten what she has asked for for her dinner. Tonight she agreed to pizza but wouldn't eat it. ACK!!! After 1 1/2 hours DH made her a hotdog. She came in all happy that she ate it & wanting desert. I told her no way it was too close to bedtime. :sad2: Of course she just went to sleep. DH has the magic touch with her at bedtime. With me she asks questions. Tonight it was about the war (neighbor's daddy is gone for 10 months now), what a heart feels like, what bones feel like, and everything that happened in school today. Oh, and she tells me at 10:30 that it is the 100th day of school tomorrow. Can I find the coins I ordered for them to share that day? Of course not! I will be organizing the closet tomorrow. :sad2:

You'll have to count us out, we are rugby avoiders. For the record if we did support a team, it would be the Crusaders too - are there other teams?! :)

GO CANTERBURY!

Oh and it is beautiful here, we've had a rotten summer but it looks like its going to finish up beautifully!

That's OK.
It's very cold here in New York. I glad it's warm somewhere.
My rugby team was thinking about going on tour to NZ in 2009.
I'm sure we'll all have fun on the repo cruise.

First off, please note I didn't write yes all huge to you. It only looked that way when Lisa quoted me so she must have done it. LOL

Secondly, what? You don't have kids that watch this stuff till it's imbedded in your brain for all eternity? How'd you manage that?

LOL! Yes, that is what I did to make that stand out for my response to you. :lmao:

I watched Full House when it was on the first time. Now DD likes to watch it. LOL!

 ..the green hair lady is very hard to take early in the morning...

 ,crashman!

:welcome: , paula too!!!!, new zealand ,was a place i wanted to go..
then the kids came.

tell us something about where you live [pics would be nice], and
your family, plez do. :flower3: pirate:

Yet another warm welcome, thank you and to everyone else too.

Hmmm, a little bit about me and my group, I'm 32 and I'm an IT consultant, travelling in my group is my partner Robert who is also 32 and a librarian and finally my Mum who is 60ish and doesn't look a day over 90 :rotfl2:

It'll be our 3rd Disney cruise, so we are also Castaway Club members, we are also DVC members as we LOVE disney.

I'm far to lazy to post pictures and these people have already done the work for me :) http://www.christchurch.org.nz/PhotoGallery/

I don't know how to explain it except to say that our last (and first) cruise there was a huge group of DIS'ers on that cruise too- matching shirts for first day, pins after that, etc. And yet it did not happen like I anticipated. Somehow I did NOT see people (besides 2 couples) when we were at PC and somehow we only saw the same few families over and over again throughout the entire cruise. (plus one family we did the ruins experience with also). If I didn't know better, I'd think they WERE really playing hide and seek with us. :rotfl: I know better though. So who knows... I don't understand it either, Lisa. :confused3
But that's why I fear it will happen again.

As someone who suffers from serious migraines, I feel for you. I don't know if you've had your BP checked lately but mine stopped when my doctor put me on medicine for my borderline high blood pressure. Not sure if it was the BP or maybe this medicine has some analgesic in it.

But don't worry -- we'll all come across as snippy from time to time whether me mean it or not.

I felt like the top of my head was going to split open last week. Thank goodness that has gone away. I don't have them often anymore but have had some doozies. In college I had one for 4 months before I even went to see the doctor. I had a headache that just wouldn't quit. The meds he gave me to help it made me drop out of classes with a couple weeks to go. I had to take the finals for them the next August. I think that it was enderol? (sp?)

OMG she so did the same thing to me!
I was all like um, don't you think it's a little late to be asking me for a fruit rollup or something when you're already in your gown? It's time to brush your teeth and get in bed for crying out loud! LOL

(what's up with always thinking they have to have dessert? And if I don't have something for dessert- they are all asking for fruit rollups. What's that about? When I grew up dessert wasn't after every meal- it was something SPECIAL. But try as I might, I can't seem to get this thru my kids' thick skulls... )

OY BOY!!!
I don't get this idea either. :sad2: I am trying to break them of this bad habit. Of course just when they are getting over it....it is time for the next cruise.

Shelley, Lisa bring up a good point! I forgot to mention the LIME GREEN DIS WIG! Put all of that together and you can't possibly miss us! As a matter of fact ladies, if I throw in the lime green shorts, my cruise wardrobe is complete - hideous yes - but complete!! :lmao: For some reason, I keep picturing myself looking like that "bowl" lady Lisa posted the other day :rotfl2: That cracks me up! We're going to have a great time!

Well maybe I should get my BP checked... I've always had LOW BP (on the low side anyway) even while pregnant and such. But I suppose that could have changed recently?

I have always had low BP as well. My normal is 90/60...or the other way around maybe...not sure at the moment. When I had to take a medication to lower my BP for the cardio catscan last year I could barely walk. They had to pump me up with fluid before they could do the test.

We're planning on doing a cruise this June on a different line. It's a 7 night that goes to Belize, Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Cozumel. I'm only going just to prove to DH that as wonderful as a suite on this 'other' line might be, it still won't be DCL. :rolleyes1 Afterwards DD and I plan on spending a week with my DB who is a CM for the Mouse!:thumbsup2

We did the same thing last February...

... we hopped another line to compare DCL against. It was Carnival for 8 nites to Mexico. Although the price for a Carnival veranda was about the same as a window on Disney ... it was not as much fun. It was OK... but not Disney. We also went on Carnival because we had a $500 credit that was not good for Disney - so it was a use it or lose it sort of thing. Oh well...

Welcome Paula!

What's everyone calling me BIP for? I'm lost.. :confused3

Lisa, your daughter sounds so much like mine. They are a trip! :lmao:

But atleast I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having to "relive" the Full House days of our lives.

It's a boring story. In HS, my friends gave me the nickname "J. R." when they realized my name (John Raymond). This was around the whole "Dallas, Who Shot J. R." craze. In college, I chose to just go by J. R. and have through my entire work life. It's easier. I will likely be the only J. R. in this DIS group. There will probably be a dozen "Johns". (And at least one "hooker", I understand).

So since my mother passed away two years ago, no one knows me as "John" except bill collectors and salesmen.

Oh, and Disney Cruise Line. I signed up as "J. R.". But my passport has "John". When I checked in, they changed my reservation to say "John". I have flown all around the world on airline tickets made out to "J. R." with that same passport, but to Disney the name must match EXACTLY.

You don't happen to have a cousin John who used to be called Bubba, do you?

Hey Crew!

I found a source with about 560 pirate jokes! I figure that's just about enough to get us from here to there.

So here we go - our very first

Pirate Joke Of The Day...

pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
How do you know you are a Pirate?

pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
You don't, you just ARRRRRRRRGH!
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
(I never promised they'd be good!)

BTW, I've given up on trying to read all these posts. I'll just have to catch up as I can with the summaries. Knock me over the head or tie me to the mast if I get something wrong.

Hey Peter my brother lives in Howard Beach. It's really nice there! My brother's name is Walter, do you know any Walter's? Oh yeah, and my sister is Johna!

Oh and I forgot to say- Ruby still got the 1 in the UIL solo this evening EVEN THOUGH she lost one of her molars on the top (the one nearest the 6 top front teeth- know where I mean?) right at the end of school. That kinda will mess up how you play- yanno? But she managed.

And now hours later that permanent tooth is halfway out already! It really was ready to get out there!

(yes, she is 13 now and just lost her first molar... give her a break, she didn't even GET teeth until she was over a year old!)

It really depends on the kid. DS lost his first tooth on CC 12/05 when he was 7y 1m. Lost his second NYE at GM's. Nothing has come out since. DD lost her first tooth 6/06 at 5y 10 mo and the second a week later. Nothing else since. Her 6 year molars started coming in when she was 5. DS's are just coming in and he is 8. He is going to be majorly bummed if DD loses her 3rd tooth before he does. :sad2:
