Did you call DCL or a TA? I got the "Since you used a TA..." spiel from DCL when I last called them. I emailed DU, but haven't heard anything about a room #.

I booked direct with DCL but have been calling everyday!!!!!!!! I just did not want a metal balcony on the bottom. I would feel too enclosed!! These are also CAT 5 but at the back of the ship.The room is small enough so I need to see outside. I guess I have some kind of phobia. Mid ship sounds great to me.

Pleeeease tell me how you convice your DD4 to clean the basement? I can barely manage to convice my DD7, while holding a green garbage bag, why it is so important for her to clean her room!

I told her she could watch Playhouse Disney if she cleaned up all her toys in the basement playroom.

I used DU as well. My response was, "DCL probably won't assign a room number until final payments are due." Don't get me wrong, I'm not unhappy with DU at all! It just makes me wonder if DCL drags their feet for the TAs who've booked and satify their direct bookings first. Truth be told, it does make sense.

Look at it this way...maybe the "upgrade fairy" will sprinkle a little pixie dust on those who wait the longest?

Alrene I hope it works this time. But that is a really GREAT friend to help you like that. I'm afraid my boss will deny my request. But I already decided that I will QUIT my job, go on the Repo, and when I return they will have to hire my back at twice my salary. You see, I am a hard working, loyal, diligent employee and I work WAY TOO CHEAP! So even at twice the price they are still getting a bargain

I'm a Coke-head myself. Wait, that's doesn't sound too good. I tried Coke Zero and CC2, but I can't stop drinking real, honest-to-goodness, sugar-filled Coke. Probably has something to do with going to school in the shadow of Coca-Cola's world headquarters. I think the stuff seeped into the drinking water.

I just emailed DU and told them that people are posting that they are received room assignments and when should I be getting ours. I'll post the reply when I get it.

This is only going to work if you drink Coke...not Pepsie...but you may want to try the C2 or Coke Zero. I know! I HATE diet drinks and refused to drink them but trying to be good I started drinking C2 instead of regular or decaf Coke. DH liked Zero. One day I had no more C2 & desired a Coke so I tried a Zero. It didn't taste like diet! Now that is the only soda we drink.

Coke Zero is the only diet I can stand. I have one with lunch every day. It's a nice transition from the pot of coffee I drink all morning (black).

Oh man, now you got me. Now if you like Cool Whip and pb. Try mixing all that with a slightly melted Fudgicle. Sure I spelled that wrong. But that is very addicting. YUMMY. Even the sugar free taste good with the sugar free pb and the lite or sugar free cool whip.

Now I need to know how you came up with such a concoction!

I try to embezzle a few chocolate chips each time I make a batch of cookies so I can add them to my PB/Cool Whip creation.

Me too! I hate Sprite type drinks, so I started drinking flavored seltzers or club soda with lemon or lime when I was pregnant. Now I drink it all the time - 0 calories!! I just drink club soda w/ on the ship.
