Lisa,

The front page looks very user friendly. :thumbsup2 Thanks for your hard work. Hopefully people will look there first instead of jumping to page 1,0XX. Then they shouldn't be scared away.

You mention that the POTC movies are required viewing to post (which I've watched), but maybe we can DCL to do a POTC trilogy marathon on the Arielview on night (if they don't have that planned already). :thumbsup2

That sounds like a great idea!

Good morning to all! :flower3:

Looks live I've got 10+ pages to catch up on so let me apologize now for replying to old news. :)

We were on the Western last week and the CC reception was on Monday at 11 - I was mad because I had a massage scheduled that morning and didn't want to miss the reception since it was our first one - had to see what it was about. Free sodas, OJ and teas, mickey krispies and that was about it! They handed out a brochure with some questions and you could get them answered by mingling with other cruisers and CM's. We each got an entry to fill out to win a raffle prize, and we each got a free pen. They gave away 10 Clocks and then it was over (of course we didn't win):confused3 I didn't have to cancel my massage, but the whole time i was worried about what time it was :rolleyes1

One other thing I HOPE they will change before we cruise again is SHUTTERS! I was so angry with the lady at Shutters by the end of the week that I just ended up cancelling my package and getting 2 pictures and paying dearly for them. I was so irritated with her - she always seemed to be there too. She was not working with me at all and I was being nice. I HATE all the pics that they take and put tacky borders on them - some are fine but I wish it was optional. The times I asked to have a photo changed or have the border deleted, she got pushy about us buying more than one package and adamant that if i continued to stack my photos that she would have move them and I would have to search all over again to find them. I am sorry but these photos aren't cheap. I wish DCL would do something similar to what they do in the parks so we don't have to suffer the wrath of even being in Shutters on the last day of the cruise - which is when most of the pics we had taken were up anyways. Half the cruiseship was in Shutters at 5pm on Friday - YIKES!! It would be nice to not have the hassle of searching (some photos all look the same and you are trying to find one out of 1,000). Okay I will get off my soap box now........thanks for reading!

Sorry about your Shutters experience. Let's just say that I agree with all you are saying...

Good morning everyone. I know that DH got home during the night because of the suitcase in the living room & the clothes on the bedroom floor. ;) DS woke up feeling bad again but he managed to down a waffle, milk, and throw in a couple spats with his sister as well....so I sent him off to school.

Glad to hear DS is feeling better. And you're right...the spats with his DS are definitely an indicator that he's well enough to go! ;)

I am soo comfused.....

I agree with the shutters issue.....they shouldn't print all the pics or let you stack and not move them about...Ideally they should do a photo pass type system....

My last cruise in Aug '06 I saw someone take their stack of photos and just walk out with them because the line was too long!

Do you know how easy that is?? We finally got around to getting a family picture done and when I went to look for them later, I couldn't find ANY! We had them done with 2 different backgrounds and they had taken multiple pictures. When I went down to the cabin, there they all were. At least 10 of them. I asked DH why he would want to buy all of them, he looked at me and said, "You have to BUY them??" :lmao:

Needless to say I had to take them back and just get the 2 that I really wanted.

Lisa OMG you are too funny :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Good Morning All, It is still morning?:goodvibes

Jeesh 400 some posts since I looked last night!

Good thing this isnt on paper or the Rainforest's would be Gone!:rotfl2:

Okay Survivor fans - here's a way to make the next 18 months go by fast - that's three seasons of Survivor and then a couple of months, and we're cruisin!

OMG! I think it actually makes it seem like a longer time! Although it will help pass the time.:)

Heck, we will have 2 dance recitals, 2 seasons of basketball and softball, the kids will have finshed two years of schooling, 2 times selling GS cookies, 3 soccer seasons... :scared1:

I assume the reason DCL hasn't just gone to Photopass is that they contract with a different third party company (The Image Group) for the cruise photos. This company does most of the major cruise lines. Hopefully this is just a matter of waiting out whatever contract is in in place and then DCL can change the system, but who knows.

Wenches rock my word ...see pics below
