My DS6 was going to marry me too. He used to think I was 24. When I finally broke down and told him I was 42, he looked me square in the eyes and told me "Mommy, I can't marry you anymore, you're gonna be dead"

Football (soccer in the USA)
American Football (developed from Rugby @ 1900)
Rugby Football (developed from soccer in Rugby Engalnd 1823)

Now the Hooker on the Rugby team is the man that wears the #2 jersey. He gets the name from the hooking foot motion he does inorder to win the ball for his team during the scrum.

I thought that it was soccer here. The kids love playing on the local team in the fall. DD took to it quickly but here we are just cheering when all the kids are heading in the right direction on the field.

Here in the Philly Burbs, there was a flurry of snow starting about 4:30.
Every time flakes fall from the sky everyone rushes to the store and buys all the milk, eggs and bread off the shelfs. Seriously.

Do you think the snow makes them crave french toast?

Does this happen any where else?

Around here they buy toilet paper, too.


Personally, we stock up on chocolate chips. If I'm gonna be snowed in, I'm gonna make cookies.

That was us a few years ago. It was so cute to watch this pack of kids run from one end of the field to the other! Now they pretty much stay in their zones but every once in a while that mob mentallity takes over.
