Alright you guys! Enough with the food! LOL! Good thing dd and I are going out to eat tonight. Where I don't know but we will figure it out.

It all looks good though!

OK - found out where we are moving this summer.
I'm trying to be positive, so here goes: We will be a one day drive each direction to "home" (our families in OH) & WDW.

Looks like we will be going to Washington, D.C.
Hmmmph.

I guess there will be cheap-ish one way flights to LA too.
Hmmmmph.

Get to spend yet another summer driving across 2 countries. This will be the 3rd time across 2 countries and we drove across a mere 1 country once, too.
Hmmmmph.

Mine went through by 8:45 am & I am on the waiting list for early dining.

I guess it could be worse - Hawaii? As a poster on another board asked - how long of a drive is it to Hawaii?:lmao:

Sorry - but the good news is that you'll be back in the main 48 and can get cheap flights to LA from DC, you're only 1 day from WDW and less than a day from family in NJ (unless you also wanted to join the witness protection program).

You know, I was able to get online within the few minutes to book mine, and I got main dining. I was going to switch to late because a couple of friends (non-DIS) are cruising with us, and are on late and want to dine with us. But now that I'm thinking about the time zone change, I really am reconsidering switching. We'll have a little one to deal with by then, and dining at 8pm pacific time would be like 10 pm central!! :scared1:
Now I know that after a few nights, we'll be adjusted to the time difference, but how difficult is that first few nights with a child???

But that's not a REAL soft pretzel.;)

No, a "real" soft pretzel is served up by some surly looking guy who has been standing at an intersection for 6 hours with a beer under his apron. And no bathroom nearby......

Hi Everyone,

Very excited to be here :cheer2: ! I see I am joining this thread rather late even though we didn't officially book until Wednesday.lol

This is going to be our second time around. We were on the 05 crossing and had a great time. We didn't meet any DISers before hand and have a feeling we missed out. Who would have thought I would get a second chance!!

Cruising will be myself, DH and DDs 4 and 13 at time of cruising along with my mom. We feel very lucky to have snagged connecting cat 8s.

See you soon!

Mary

Ok ANDY not fair at all, Geesh even the onion rings looked good.. I guess I will go have a bowl of CHERRIOS....:confused3

I have to catch up to the posts as well.. with this name at least.. With all this snow it could be a long night..

My laptop won't keep power so I cant talk in bed anymore!!

We have 2nd dining and we really enjoy that since you dont have to rush back to get ready for dinner so fast..

TastyKakes....I worked for TastyKake the summer between my freshman and sophmore years in college.....

Boy was that fun.....Hard work sometimes but fine...

Worked in the cookie dept on an assembly line for wrapping and packaging

Well I'm ashamed to say I never really liked 'em  Being from "All Over" I wasn't raised with the hankering for them, actually, I like Twinkies better.

:scared1:

I guess your description includes me too! But I am very young at heart!

Yes you certainly are :cool1:

I've just seen the DVD you sent me of you dancing on the stage in the Wonder on last year's 10 Day Southern!!!

I haven't seen her on here in a while. It was funny last cruise. She didn't tell her DH about the group until right before the cruise. She would be in the basement room with the computer cracking up with us & he would wonder what she was reading. :lmao: Best part....she met us and Kristina's family in Baltimore at the aquarium when we were there for DH's graduation 9/1. The kids met each other & DS & her youngest DD became buddies. She would ask her mom about "that boy" and Caroline would have to change the subject. :lmao:

Well....I was right in the next room actually.;) Don't forget the mini-meet in PA where I met even more "strange internet people!"

Oh, and least I forget my mom looking all over God's green earth for me when I met you in Baltimore!

could it have been the large series of pictures from that British fellow?

Sorry you thought it was me, but they have all been posted before without any problem???????????
Sure one thread couldnt bring the boards down or one series of pictures in it?

Our little guy adjusts well to any time zone...because he NEVER misses a meal and won't let you forget about it either  The first night of any trip he gets a little fussy if he's not in his own Travel Lite (and now full sized PNP) crib. He always took an extra bottle during a long (1.5 hours+) flight. Not for his ears but just to drink, not sure why. Nowadays he'll eat when we do regardless of time changes.

It all looks good though!

DH banned meals out for a while as a way to pay for our TRIP OF A LIFETIME! Going grocery shopping though so that means easy food for all!

Andy is that a BUILD A BEAR??

Ok my delimma.. daughter is at work, son is skiing.. do I stay on DIS all night and catch up or go SHOPPING?? :rotfl2: :confused3
This way I can catch up at least for 3 hrs..lol :surfweb:

Well if shopping = buying then that takes away from paying for "The Trip of a Lifetime" :rotfl2: Unless, of course you're buying some brown pants :rotfl:
