My son Andrew is a huge World of Warcraft fanatic. He keeps asking me if anybody here plays.

DH plays every day. ;) 9ds plays sometimes, 27ds plays every day, also. :rotfl:

PM me and I'll get their info for your son.

It sounds like it would be a logistical mess trying to arrange for the Costco members to purchase for those of us who aren't... Isn't there a regular grocery store or target or something that would work? Costco might be the "cheapest" but if we have to buy a $50 membership that will probably be more than any savings we would get.

Pamela (pdarrah)

I would never use it again. No Costcos here, only Sams Clubs.

Tell Elvis to bring a lap top along so he could give me photoshop lessons.:thumbsup2 I love the pictures. Tell Samantha she is still adorable!!!:goodvibes

They both smiled when i read this to them! :thumbsup2

OMG!!!! I could never see what I actually spent on a cruise. I would be scared :scared1: to see my projected spending amount. I like my husbands theory. If you spend it, I will just make more money!!!:cheer2:

Do we have the same dh???? They are both great I know that! :yay: :woohoo:

The only reason I know what we spent on the 10nt was because I was curious as to how much Michael & Katherine spent so, I had actually looked at our stateroom accounts. ;) At the time Michael made sure to tell me that Katherine was using his KTTW card most nights! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Since everything was charged to my room I guess it didn't matter which card they used! ;)

Ok, to just take the planning up a whole 'nother notch.... anyone interested in a post cruise page on the website where we can all post our photobucket, etc. links to our cruise photos ?

What a WONDERFUL idea!!!

Here are the 3 supermarkets within 3 miles of Disneyland (Vons, Ralphs and Albertsons)

All of them usually have pretty good size liquor departments with a good selection of rum and wine. Being Sunday morning though you may want to pick a store and call ahead that 100 pirates will be visiting and to make sure their shelves are stocked.

Oh God I forgot about Shutters!

Yeah, that's just what I was telling my DH:rotfl:

Picture of Ian Thomas from his 1st Birthday party. Just seems like he's growing up so fast. We've been baby sitting for nine months now one more and we cut back to one week a month. We've really missed our freedom.

Oh he is adorable:lovestruc They are so cuddly at that age. But I do enjoy the freedom I have now that mine are older:thumbsup2

One alternative to shutters is to suck up to Crash, he takes 7,000 pics on a 7 night cruise, he should be good for abou 20,000 here and is bound to have a few good ones of each of us......

I'm sure for a few attestations of his innocence he would share them and you can get them printed.....

Good idea, Crash takes great pics too. I'll post a link to my pics. While I'm totally a novice in the camera department, I sometimes get lucky and take a good one:rolleyes:

Thanks! I thought Tarzan was OK to see once, but not fabulous, and felt the same about Mary Poppins . . . but Little Mermaid has got to be worth at least one viewing, right? I really appreciate your comments today after feeling a little let down after reading the review. I'll let you know what I thought as well after seeing it next Friday night with the girls.

Disney's version of Tarzan was never my thing so I never went to see the stage version. I like the old tv versions of it
I really like Mary Poppins but haven't seen it on Broadway
Saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and LOVED it

I agree it is worth at least one evening to see Mermaid

Oh I loved the Little Mermaid movie:lovestruc I've got to look into getting tickets. Maybe with the bad reviews I'll have an easier time getting tickets:confused3

I am sure I am a minority - but we have never bought much from Shutters. Maybe 2 or 3 photos per 7-day cruise. There never seem to be very many of us - we don't do much character meet-n-great and might do 1 formal photo. Of the few that are there, they usually aren't that good - eyes are closed, someone looking away, goofy looks, etc. I don't think I have every seen a candid Shutters photo of us or anyone we were sailing with. I think we may have just bought one on our last cruise - a pirate nite shot with us and a couple friends in costume.

The last time we TRIED to get a good formal photo from Shutters was our 2nd cruise when my parents joined us. I really wanted a good photo of DH, DF and DS in their tuxes. The photographer took 2 shots and was done - this was the best he got. I bought it even though it didn't come out as well as I had hoped. Since then, I have pretty much taken my own photos since I can check right away that they came out OK...

They look great Pamela:thumbsup2

I haven't been terribly lucky at Shutters either:sad2:

Yes you can - Here in NJ you cannot purchase liquor on a Sunday before 12pm so I called the Costco location in Torrance and they said that they open at 10am and do sell liquor and wine at the time they open

I can just see a mad rush through the stores with carts full of wine and liquor
:rotfl: :rotfl: Someone must take a photo of that

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I found the perfect shopping cart race picture, but it won't stay (sigh)

I don't think a location has been chosen on where the stop is going to be
I just used Costco as an example because I called there to find out what their hours for selling rum ;) because in our area you cannot purchase it before 12pm on Sundays

You can buy Rum or other spirits at 6AM here in California. We have very early Champagne brunches here. :rotfl2:

Hi,

I "googled" - Bev'Mo and Trader Joe's - they both have locations in Long Beach on E. PCH. I will confess we drink "2 Buck Chuck" & will probably bring a couple of cases ...... well it is a 15 day cruise!!! LOL

I have a folding cooler on wheels that we brought beverages on board at Port Canaveral. However, that was for a 7 day cruise - I'm not sure how to pack for the longer one.

I am soooooo psyched today!

I booked my airfare for the repo trip. Chicago to LAX and then Orlando to Chicago. Price? $20!

$15 because I had to make the reservations by phone (the web site wouldn't let me use the "multi-city" function) and $5 for the use of some of my frequent flyer miles.

With the money that I didn't spend, I think I'm going to get a new digital camera so I can be ready for some of those splendid shots on the cruise.

Come on August!!!
