This excursion looks great. The only thing DD (12) wants to do is snorkel. Any idea how many people can go on the boat?

From the pictures I have seen, it looks like 30-40 people/boat. They have 2 boats.

2) Had SWMBO standing over his shoulder, or

Some of us are up a little late and some of us are up a little early. How was everyones Xmas?

I mentioned a few weeks ago how cute my grandsons IPODS were and low and behold my wife got me one as a gift. My 18 yearold grandson loaded it with 50 songs. I asked him how he knew what to load, and he said all those times I was in the car with you through the years listening to my CD's. I was really touched that he remembered. So now when I'm out shopping with the wife I can be in my own world with Roger Whittaker, Pavarotti, & Charlotte Church. Kind of scary how small it is.

It seems I'm down with a mild illness now...otherwise it's been nice. Lego land was much better then expected! However, I ddon't know if I'll be well enough to do Knotts on new years' eve as planned. But maybe if I rest up enough I'll be able to join the family as we hook up with Alicia's cousins from Hawaii as they all hit Disneyland on the 1st and 2nd? If not... then I'll drive them down to the hotel and probably just camp out there. I don't think I'm so sick as to stay home the whole time if my current condition persists.

And may i say welcome to the MP3 generation! I only recently got my 1st MP3 player(s) and it's unexpectedly nice! I've shared little images on numerous occasions and can listen to books on CD (free from the library!) plus enjoied 100s of hours of my favorite tunes! My player is not as fancy as your ipod unfortunately, and that's on account of my tendcy to LOSE these small electronic gizmos... sometimes. I've already misplaced that creative zen V somewhere in the house (I think) ... so I'm getting by on a lowly Sandisk Sensa c240 with a modest 1GB. But I got it on Woot for only $16! It's expandable to 3 GB if I ever get around to buying the micro SD card it takes. I'm waiting for a deal on that now ... no surprise there, eh?

I did ketchup on thread the last nigt and was suprised to see JetBlue opened up flights. I booked everything last night and we are all set. It was very exciting to be able to book becuase it makes it seem so much more real!!!!

DD and I are going out a week earlier and our flights were $30 more than DH's who is flying in the day before. I will keep an eye on the flights since JetBlue offers credits if your flight price is lowered. I doubt CA end will go down, but FL to Boston was $114 and that usually goes down to $79 at some point.

Mary Ann....

... forgive me for askin' ... but do you / did you have symptoms of just coughing and junk in you throat? Plus ONLY a moderate sinus pressure headache? These are my symptoms and I don't know if this is this years' rendition of the flu sweeping the nation.

If so, and IF you are finally getting better... may I ask how long its' taken for you to improve? I was hoping to turn a corner soon so i can join my family and visiting relatives in diversions soon... but will not if I'm not well. I would NOT want to be implicated in getting them sick by spending the whole day ... day after day .... coughing near them while they are on vacation. Know what I mean?

Unfortunately, I'm expecting to hunker down at our hotel (or home if I get any worse) and miss them the whole week. Which leaves Alicia almost alone with the two girls at Disneyland... well... they will have the company of cousins and the uncle and auntie (cousins).

On our last cruise I had posted plenty of pics throughout the year of posting...and while we were waiting in line for the bus from MCO to the port I had a couple of people from the boards reconize my youngest! And the fact that we are usually saying *Claire! Claire! STOP! WAIT!*

Sometimes life just sidetracks best laid plans. I wanted to come on last night and chat with y'all, catch up on e-mail, generally harass y'all, etc., but ended up going out and playing fireman. Did I mention I have been a volunteer for 25 years this February? (Crash maybe one of the upcoming 7 questions should be "Tell us something about you we don't know).

...may I offer that I admire and respectfully applaud your service to the community as a volunteer. It goes without saying that you've touched the lives of countless neighbors in your years of service!

1) Tell us something about your spouse we probably don't know...?

2) Have you considered any new Years' resolutions? If so, would you like to share them?

3) When you proposed or were proposed to last - what was passing through your mind silently? Anything in particular worth sharing?

4) If you have a PET... what did he or she do the last time they were "naughty"?

5) When was the last time you were sick more or less? What did you comedown with?

6) When was the last time you got a ticket (moving violation, infraction or parking)

7) And for thefinal question posed in 2007 ... by popular demand.... Tell us something about you we (probably) don't know... !

I think some of these questions are perhaps difficult to reply to - if we get few responses - or a number of skipped replies I would not be surprised. I will be among the first few to reply in good faith.... in a few minutes AFTER the first 2 replies post.
