Hi David!!!! How is everyone feeling?? Did you say your parents or Helen's are meeting you in Florida or California???:goodvibes

Hi

Helen's mother and her husband will be in Florida but therein lies a very long story. I promise you'll be among the first to hear:sad2:

David

It's probably best for me that I don't have such easy access to English biscuits! Of course, your kit kats are better too -- they are giant instead of the little bits we have here . . .

The KitKat I had was actually a "Chunky" KitKat and it was even nicer because Alex bought it for me :)

My DD Kelly is a huge Kit Kat fan:rolleyes:

I gotta see about getting her some of these:)

Yes, Laurie, I can tell you that the chunky ones are the ultimate for a kit kat fan . . . we were able to find them in Europe when we were there this past summer and Elizabeth (the oldest) bought a big supply to bring home and hoard for a while.

Happy new year, by the way!

So did we ever decide what to do for our thread's one year anniversary tomorrow??????

$1.35 each :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

At the moment they're on offer in Woolworths at £1.00 / $2.00 for a pack of five:) Normally, they are about £0.40 / $0.80 each

David

Exactly! I remember Elizabeth buying several packs of 5 to bring back and they were pretty inexpensive. Just as I mentioned a long time ago about the McVittie's, you can get them here but you really pay for the privilege!

Dare I suggest............some cake ???

Oh please, no.............the closest thing to cake I can have is a Slim Fast Optima Peanut Butter Crunch snack bar, at just 120 calories, they are very tasty!!! Something like a Butterfinger candy bar.........:thumbsup2

Happy New Year Julie:flower3:

Does anyone know if the Sams Club or Walmart next to the dock in Puerto Vallarta carry liquor (or is that against Sam's religious beliefs?).

And if they do, can we use one of the flatbed carts to get back to the ship?

Sorry these quotes are soooo old, I'm finally ketching up today! :goodvibes

Does anyone have Deanna's phone number so we can all take turns calling her during the OSU game tonight??

:)

Ohhh.....you are such a little stinker :rotfl:

Oooh...Bad idea. Currently 31-10 LSU.

 to Buckifan.

 Joel!

:grouphug: Deena!

Thanks, I needed it! ;)

I'm in the final stage.....acceptance. This is strike 3 now after last year National Championship game against Florida, then Men's Basketball National Championship game against Florida, again. Now this. Oh well....I am still a proud Buckeye!

Haven't seen a Woolworths since NY. Used to love to wander around.

If the street and the dock is smooth, The scooter can carry a flat of water. I was wondering about it as well.

Quote got dropped...

I haven't seen the commercial, but that sounds about right. Only I freeze at Squirt hockey. Pee Wee is actually an age level (11-12 year olds). I stay warm at Mite hockey (6-8) since I'm on the ice...with my travel coffee mug.

I can relate to this M, only I freeze at figure skating lessons and practice. The worst is if I wear my glasses in the summer and when I come out, they fog up and I can't see a thing!

We never pack away our mitten/gloves/hats/scarves, because we need them all year.

At the moment, Slimfast in the UK are running the most awful TV advert / commercial I have ever known - I wonder if Andrew has seen it?

Deanna, here in Florida, if I have the A/C on in the car, my glasses are always fogging up getting out.:cool2:
