DH and I love Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian :cloud9:
Very expensive though:confused3

We love it too. Got the Chef's Table in August and will probably never want to sit in "the front of the house" again. It was too fun!

This trip is all about doing all the stuff we've never done - and we've never been the CA Grill. So, V&A is out and CA Grill is in. Oh, and I timed our ressie for the Princess and Pirate party fireworks! ;)

There will be 6 of us flying out of the central valley that morning. Me and Hubby, my mom and dad and sister and brother in law.

I'm telling you Monica - a party bus for all the Northern Californian's is looking better... :dance3:

Provide we could all agree on a departure date. :rolleyes1

OK, so maybe it wouldn't work. But it was a fun idea! :dance3:

I give up trying to find a "good" picture of me. Apparantly my picture is only taken on vacation and most of the time I look not so nice on vacation.
Here is my attempt:
These were from Alaska

These look like they were taken at Mendenhall Glacier near Juno. And, if I may say so the photos of your family look simply beautiful. My smart alek girls in recent years have taken it upon themselves to get rascally every time I try to take their photo - and they get especially silly when we try to take family photos! Arrrrgh!

Well... in this photo the "Dad" is contributing to the antics too... sigh.;)

 Good Morning All

Update: After I shut my laptop down last night, my brother Pete called and said the doc believes Charles trouble yesterday was caused by asthma.

Keep the warm weather reports coming Liz! We'll be there in 4 days.

what happened to ohio state i thought for sure they will win.lsu is looking good

:sad2: Not a good day to be a nut.

I've always wanted to go to the Adventurer's Club - DH isn't quite so "adventerous":rotfl2:.

Buzz while you're in control in a must do too!

Unfortunately it is a 'must do' for little boys! DH got to control his car once and made the top level (I forget what it is called). He's psycho that way.

You can sit in a big comfy chair with a drink in your hand while crazy people entertain you. What's not to like? My DH isn't a big fan of clubs/bars/etc. & he loves the Adventurer's Club.

I love to hang out in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge and just curl up in those leather chairs.....

I like watching the water light pagent from the beach too....

But tell me how do you ever miss TIKI ROOM even with kids....

"all the birds sing words and the flowers bloom"..............:rolleyes1

In the Tiki TIki TIki Tiki TIki Room!

My kids LOVE the Tiki Room

Oh, the Adventurer's Club - you're not the first I've heard great things about it from. We never go to Pleasure Island. Definitely, at least one night there...

We did Buzz ALOT this last summer, and I got my share of having control. So, I don't need to scratch that particular itch.

Oh, Glacier is definitely on the list. In fact, we'll probably spend more time hiking at Glacier than in the crowds at Yellowstone. Glacier is surrounded by a lot of National Forest - where we can hike with Taiko. Did I mention we're taking the dog? Me, DS11, DS7, and a dog - in a pop up camper for 5-weeks!! Our Cat 4 on the Magic is going to seem like a palace! :rotfl2:

Right now it's looking something like: Yellowstone, Glacier, The Woods (the family property in the WA Cascades), Mt Rainier (maybe St Helens?), the Olympic Penincula, and the OR coast on the way home. I'm on maps right now to see how doable that all is. It's looking like it might be possible...
.

Heck your Cat 4 is going to look like a palace compared to my Cat 10!
I was going to suggest driving PCH, but I'm not sure how fun that would be dragging a pop up.

I haven't been there, but you could also head south from Yellowstone to Grand Teton. I've heard good things. Crater Lake NP in Oregon is also beautiful.

I know what you mean.
The only way I can ever coax a 'nice' photo out of my boys is to promise that I'll take a silly one when we are done.

Hey M--I have a DISfriend from Woburn, MA that will be running in the 1/2 marathon at WDW this weekend along with your hubby. Jennifer and some of her co-workers, plus her boss will all be running and are using this to help raise funds for the Woburn Boys & Girls Club.

OK, I've got to get my tail out the door and get to work, going up to about 70* or so today. I'd love these temps to stay until April, but that's my dream................:lmao:

Youngest DD looks simialr to this in almost picture I have of her. She is quite the "ham".
Yes, the picture is at Mendenhall Glacier. Absolutely beautiful.

Hopefully they gave the parents some kind of sleep monitor. I know how hard it is to try to sleep when you have had a scare like that. Megan had a apnea monitor even though she never had apnea but it was reassurance.
Hope the little guy is better and the parents can relax and enjoy their baby.

Good question - I didn't even realize that shots should be considered for this cruise. I have been to all the places except Cartagena and Acapulco

Anyone have further information? I tried to look at the CDC website but it just confused me more

I just called a local Travelers Clinic to see about the Hep A shots....:scared1:
I was told that all they had at the moment was the Combo A & B. We would each need a series of 3 shots at a cost of $175.00 EACH or $1050.00 I then called the Visiting Nurses Association...Hep. A,series of 2 each at a cost of $60.00 a piece or $240.00. My question is; Do you think that we can do this cruise without the shots?

One other possible route to check about the shots is your employers, if you work in certain types of public professions, say medical field, emergency services, school cafeteria..... sometimes employers will pay for that type of innoculation. Can't hurt to ask.

Yeah we can work something out and in return you can buy one of my shutters fotos for me to take home! Even switch I think!:lmao:

Chrissie

One photo for a family of 4 laundry...... that sounds like a deal!

Buzz while you're in control in a must do too!

Reason #xxx NOT to read DIS backwards..... phrases like "Buzz while you're in control" are just subject to too many interpretations (or flashbacks).

looks like a ....
