On the westbound pc 2005 we had a PJ's Breakfast.. are we going to do that here..

It was arrange on a day at sea and it was fun seeing the looks on the other guests wondering what we were doing

Oh too much fun! I can see the faces when a whole bunch of adults show up in the disney jammies!

Just checked my calendar for May 25, 2008 and I am off that day. That is the day the Magic wil arrive here in LA. In 2005 a bunch of us went down to the port and had a DIS welcome party. Here is the link to the photos that I took. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/1355576247069036767NAXGdpIt was quite an affair with helicopters, fire boats and waterskiers. When it gets closer we will get more organized.

That is so cool!!! :) What time of day did it arrive? Looks like a lot of people were up so not as early as usual I would imagine.

Roger---just holler if you want help from any of us WDW neighbors.

Thanks Judy, all of our ADR's are made and I have a game plan for which parks on which days. Just have to figure out how see everything that we want and schedule a rest break everyday. Will let you know as time gets closer.
Roger

Once we went on board one of our Diser's went and let them know what day we were going to do this and they had a section in Lumiere's .. it was a lot of fun.. The marjority of us had the PJ's from disneyshopping.com.. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

We have a gty cat 9 total for 3A 1C(17) is 7212.96, I went ahead and paid the deposit for all four of us, didn't want to have the change anything just yet. We'll see how things go, maybe my mom will still be able to go afterall.

You can come use the veranda any time Andy!:thumbsup2

I just checked my reservation online and the price has increased over $2000 from what I was quoted yesterday. ACK ACK ACK!!! How can that be? I already paid the deposit!

OH, and the Spectromagic Soundtrack is today's hold music.

:crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: Can't find the shocked guy. Rush on DCL's site now I bet.

That sounds like fun. :) One to put on the list. Did you have it in Lumiere's and arrange it beforehand? Or was that the result of the sleepover in the atrium & all over deck 3 to wait in line for that pins? :(

Yeah, I'm thinking I want to start looking at the ports- and also researching where to fly in to Ca, transportation to the parks and a resort (?) stay for a night or two. We are only interested in doing something before the cruise- not after. We'd love to go to WDW after the cruise but we're already going to have to RUSH home because the kids are going to miss some school to do this cruise. Plus we'd rather not go thru the hustle and bustle of WDW after the cruise, we'd prefer to do it before.

FWIW Sailing is from the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro.
San Pedro is between Rancho Palos Verdes and Long Beach and below Torrance/Carson...pretty much the armpit of Southern California :rotfl: (With all due respect to anyone here who lives in San Pedro :duck: )

There are plenty of airport choices for flying into the LA basin. 5 to be exact:
LGB - Long Beach - Closest to the port, smallest of them all and so easy peasy to get around, also probably more costly to fly into, JetBlue flies there
(19.6 miles to Disneyland, 14.1 miles to San Pedro)

LAX - Los Angeles International - next closest based on road miles, no explination needed, you can fly anyone including Air Yak there
(33.2 miles to Disneyland, 24 miles to San Pedro)

SNA - Orange County/John Wayne/Santa Ana - sometimes a good alternative to LAX, less congested and easy to get to the car rentals, directly adjacent to the 405, closest airport to :tink:Disneyland ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo pooh: :dumbo:
(15.6 miles to Disneyland, 34.8 miles to San Pedro)

BUR - Bubank - farther north than LAX but has the benefit of putting you near Univeral Studios
(42.9 miles to Disneyland, 41.0 miles to San Pedro)

ONT - Ontario - sometimes cheaper than LAX/SNA but unless you have family in the area to go visit, the $50-$75 bucks you save may not be worth the hassles of dealing with SoCal freeways :crazy2:
(33.1 miles to Disneyland, 60.4 miles to San Pedro)

It can't be that different from when we show up together to take the dining room with Jack Sparrow. LOL!

Enna (wink wink),
I can't believe your price went up since you were quoted.
Holy kittens as Crystal says.
Maybe they added your relatives........they found you:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

But of course! Are there any others???? We all have the matching tropical outfits, don't we? :lmao: We will be able to wear each of them on this cruise. :thumbsup2

OK....I'm breathing again. Apparently, they added airfare at a cost of $529.70 x 4 people = Me having heart failure. :faint:

It's ok now. I'm breathing again.
