I sent them everything that was on my confirmation, but turns out all they did was email me the form to fill out for the transfer so it wasn't needed.

What form ? I didn't get any form. I only got a response saying they were very busy and might not get back to me till Feb. 1st. I sent them reg. email.

Well I was finally able to get through and transferred my reservation to the cruise, but I'm in a Category 9 GTY which according to the rep is the only thing available. I am going to keep praying and wishing that I can get a Cat.6 for this cruise. At least I'm on board.

Welcome to everyone who has joined today, and sorry to anyone who has had problems, I read another post the ship is full now but some availability might reopen in a day or so for any double bookings and deposis not paid.

I have paid off 75% of the cost tonight, is that a record, and before you say why, the dollar/pound rate is very good now. I do not wish to take any risk.

As we didnt get on the same Med cruise, it looks like I will finaly meet you on the East Bound Repo

Dont bring up the exchange rate anymore it scares me when I think of my trip to DLP this June & then the Med Cruise!

Yes! We're MUCH more calm today! I only have one concern left...(well, 2 really)
The first one though is transferring to DU, and then finding out that they aren't able to change my ressies later when we know more about a child with the whole adoption thing. We booked a child of 3 just to be safe, but we will have to change the name and DOB. Will DU have a problem with that do you think, or should I just keep it with DCL?


...Then the other concern is HOW AM I GOING TO PAY FOR THIS?!?!? LOL
(but we have about 15 months to worry about that! LOL)

Couldn't agree with you more. As hard as it was for me to do that's exactly what I did. Called DCL bit the bulllet while being on hold and dis on the boards.

I cancelled my quote with DU because I got right in & booked myself & I didn't want to double book. Now I'm wondering if I didn't shoot myself in the foot because they might be getting better pricing. I know what's been quoted so far included the 10% discount but still it seems like a fantastic deal!

For the fun of it, I looked up what the price for a 7-night Mexico cruise would be for our family (2A/2C). It is only $700 less than 15 day repo. This makes me feel a little better about the price. Of course I am not counting the airfare or more excursions. I guess this is called a Disney bargain.

Don't worry we have 15 months.....That's two tax returns away too...

and i already have hatched a plan to ask for passports for xmas.

Its bumping along 2 to 1 currently in our favour, in 2003 I was in Orlando at a rate of $1.34 to the £1, yes the Med will cost you more, we are liklely to have another hike in interest rates soon so might go further, but I do not wish to take that chance not a gambling man.

Look forward to seeing you onboard, will have to get back to planning Med again soon.

You will like DLP is ''compact'' everything within walking distance DL is good same as DL CL Walt Disney studios was small but they are adding a lot of new things from Pixar,

Thanks! I was really getting that I kept getting a busy signal and other people were able to get through and at least be on hold. I had been trying to call then since 8:00A.M. East Coast Time and finally got the phone to ring at 2:15p.m.

Hey Judy - where are you (on the ship)? Deck 2 right?

I am going to contact the dining department in a few days and confirm that we can do things the same way that we did for the 12/9 cruise. Everyone linked paid their final balance and all who were WLE were switched to early dining. They are going to have to see how this one looks after the double bookings are cancelled.

Hello everyone! We are in also! Will be me, dh, ds age 11 & dd age 7. My parents are also in our sailing party.

I started calling at 8am.....on hole for an hour, then disconnected. Kept calling back....finally got thru and was told est. wait time was 167 mins. YIKES! Luckily, after about 45 min on hold, a very nice gentleman took my call.

So sorry to hear about all of the frustration everyone has gone thru today. Hope everyone gets what they want!

Lots of stairclimbing in our future! We don't use the elevators - it's a thing. My family LOVED me when we boarded in Key West on Deck 1 & sprinted to deck 10 for sunset. I had to start promising Mickey Bars at about Deck 7. We used the elevators exactly once on our 7-day. I let them take it from Lumiere's to deck 10 when we felt the urge to promenade after dinner - and that was only because it was formal night.
