It looks like we're in.

(Of course I haven't seen the price yet)

Thanks to whoever posted the idea of checking online under the original ressie #. I see that the TA was able to transfer our staterooms to the repo! Now the dreaded wait for the price tag e-mail.

Cheers to all who are booked and good luck to everyone still working on it

Mike

Man, I can't believe there's already 410 pages of y'all. Booking just opened this morning. Anyway, you can add 3 more to the list of DIS'ers going. DH, DD & I made it through the phone system this morning (after 2 1/2 hours) to get a GTY Cat. 10. They wouldn't let us choose any rooms (for any category), so there it is.

I'll try to catch up on the thread over the next week or so.

So maybe I missed it, but does anyone know what the deal is with the ports of call? I did notice on my itinerary that it now reads:

1. LA
2. At sea
3. Cabo San Lucas
4. Puerta Vallarta
5. At sea
6. Acapulco
7. At sea
8. At sea
9. Panama canal
10. Panama canal
11. At sea
12. At sea
13. At sea
14. At sea
15. Castaway Cay
16. Port Canaveral

Anyone know what happened? :confused3

I mean it really doesn't much matter to me, because as long as I'm on the ship, I don't care where it goes...but it seems to me that they would be a little bit cheaper with less ports of call.

some people are reporting the Cms show the ports in the computer and they are showing on confirmations - and that this is just an online error!:)

OMG - for those who got DISCONNECTED :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: - I would probably be in the looney bin by now. For those still on hold :grouphug: :grouphug: - and for those of us still waiting to hear from our TA's :grouphug: :grouphug: . When I get home tonight I am pulling out the biggest bottle of rum I can find and hiding in my room!

I called about the ports of call, and they said that Aruba & Cartegena were still in their system.

We will be joining you. After 1 hour 45 minutes on hold we got 2 cat 10 GTY
for 2 Adults and our 4 kids. We need connecting rooms and we were told you could no longer pick any rooms on the boat that they are all GTY. I was on hold right at 8 am. How early did they want me to call? Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get what we want eventually, but at least we got on the boat. I guess with 15 days on DCL you are forced to just relax at some point right? This is what I am looking forward to the most!

Wow I really feel for those who got disconnected after all that time. What a major bummer! Good luck to everyone still trying to get their reservation. What a frenzy this is!

I have not done a spec of work yet today so I best get to it as I will need to keep this job if I plan to pay for our trip!

Hang in there everyone!!!!:grouphug:

Just wanted to express my sympathy to those who were on hold for hours and were disconnected. I can't even imagine what you're feeling.

Aruba is on the DCL website now with a link to port details.

We got thru at 5:01 this morning (PST) but unfortunately, due to the computers in FL...took until 6:15 to get our cabins...not exactly what we wanted but darn near close enough! We are on the ship!

I feel for those who were disconnected..everytime they put me on hold..I panicked!

The only cat's left on the DCL website are 5, 8 & 9 and I've heard nothing from DU.
