Say...

... I must ask... how is it YOU got 3 tags from the tag fariy with under 1000 postings - and I have 3000+ postings and NO tags? What gives :confused3
LOL
Who knows.
You should join my little known club of "unlucky people without tags".
Now after I post this, I shall see how many posts I have. I'm betting it's a lot. :rotfl:

GIVE NOTHING BACK!

Love the Yoda! The other one scares me.

I don't feel so bad now...

... thanks... and to think, you're a sponsor too!

LOL
And I'm lifetime!!!
But I just keep telling myself I don't have a tag now because it would interfere with my completely neato sponsor avatar there. Yeah, that's the ticket... stay in denial. LOL

So I was shooting the breeze with one of my Security folks today after reading about this repo. I was joking around about foreign travel reporting requirements...

Me: "Say xxxx, is 20 months' notice was sufficient notice for foreign travel?" (We have to provide 30 days notice or ASAP for las minute trips.)
JG:  "Uh sure, but I think you should wait until a little closer to your trip! Hell I may not even be here come next year. Uhhhh how is it that you can have trip dates for a vacation in late 2008?"
Me: "Oh, well it's a Disney Cruise! Went on one before and it was great! This is a special one because the are going to sail out of California for a while so there are two 2-week cruises through the Canal to repo.. reposition the ship."
JG: "A cruise? Sounds expensive! Canal...the Panama Canal? You're going to Panama?"
Me: "Well if you think about it, a cruise is more cost effective than an air/hotel/destination-based vacation...plus you only have to unpack once! ;) Yes, the Panama Canal but no, we're not stopping in Panama. The ports of call are Cabo, Puerto Vallarta (we went there for our anniversary), Mazatlan or Acapulco I forget which, then through the Canal with a stop in Cartagena and then on to Disney's private island in the Bahamas and finally back into Port Canaveral, Florida. So if you think about it, we'd spend a LOT more money flying around to those places plus hotel costs etc."
JG: "Okay that soun----wait! Did you say Cartagena? Cartagena, COLUMBIA?!?!?":scared:
Me: "Well of course Columbia silly...Cartagena, Spain is totally out of the way! Besides, that's a different set of repo cruises!" :rotfl:
JG: :headache: "Dude! Why do you have to cause me so much @^&#% trouble!? (heh heh long story there) Do you know what kind of paperwork I have to process because you want to go to @@%$# COLUMBIA?!?!?!?" :headache:
Me: "Well look, it's a Disney Cruise! Nothing is going to happen to us. Hell, I'm not even taking my gun. And it's not like we're staying there for a week! The ship only stays in port for 8-10 hours at most."
JG: :sad2: "Harumph!! Well we'll have to talk more about this later--like when 2008 rolls around! Toublemaker!"
So while this may cause them some paperwork, I really don't care! pirate: I'm getting on that ship and they aren't going to stop me!! :goodvibes

First post here for me. I initially thought I'd wait and see if we get a cabin on Wednesday, but after I spent about 4 hours last night flipping through pages 1-183 last night, and finally catching up tonite, figure I need to at least say "hey".

My DW is expecting to finish her PhD by early next year, so this will be a little dangling carrot out there for her :teacher: = :sail: with :smickey: . We would be bringing our DDs, who will be ages 9 and 7 at sailing. We have one DCL cruise under our belts, a 7-day Eastern in Jan 2005.

Because of the $30,000+ we have/are investing in wife's PhD, we'll probably look at somewhere around a Cat 9 & 10 for budget reasons (depending on cost and availability on Wed.). Wife actually was wanting to do Atlantis in Nassau for her graduation celebration. I started pricing out the cost of that trip. Atlantis rooms were $400-500/nt and up, but no food or entertainment included, so figuring another $200/day for food/entertainment for 4 and just one week there would probably run us close to $4,500 or more. Thought that two weeks on Magic for a little more and a visit to 4 different countries sounded more tempting.

I did skim the entire thread page by page. It looks like a fabulous group (and quite a bit of competition on Wednesday). Actually have a couple things in common with CBJHOCKEYNUT. First, we are Columbus Blue Jacket PSL holders & Fans. Also, I'm 99.99% sure you're daughter plays on the same hockey team with my nephew. He is on a team called the Wild and is number 27. I only realized when you mentioned your daughter scored a goal last weekend and I thought "Hmm....my parents mentioned that the girl on Drew's team scored a goal". I talked to my sister tonite after they went to the Sabres game and she confirmed that she knew your family was missing tournaments for an upcoming Disney cruise and did one about every year

So, your occupation poses some problems with a Columbian visit? Or is it you are a foreign national in the USA?

LOL!
Well there is a stop in Aruba too, right?

well if i had a tag fairy , you would be ....something along the line,

i swim 10 laps in the coffee pot, is how i keep my mojo arrgh going! or maybe
something like , "i never knew coffee had a liquid form?,arrrgh to you!", or if
you give me 10 seconds of your time, i'll give you 10 years of :lmao:
funny money in returns...or slap happy is the place for me, from green
acres. speakin of, wouldn't have arnold ?, made a good pirate: ?

we are on the list for 2 rooms..so we are may be sailin on what's looking
like the magical mystery tour? do pirates smell..alot? pirate: anyway, that's
what my lil'princess: asked. { i showed her her the pirate man's pic. and
she thought he needing a good bath}. i told her, it just the "games" people
play...:rolleyes1 . however, i like dirt in a jar too! my sister & i used to make
the best mud pies this side of the flying dutchman. popcorn::

ok, before going, "what the"...i like throwing monkee's wrenches around...
well, is that any more worst than breaking one monkee? actually- to tell
the truth, i was afraid to look ...at the circled area...not being too sure if
the pirate was exposing a "bad " monkey or a "broken" one? i'm not the
brave soul esp. around pirate: folks. i was afraid he might have been out
to rob my dignity...as iam the  type , with a lil ':wizard:

they are 5 of us...and yes, i am aries, with many faults. we have done 5
dcl cruises, but never in a group outside our family....so is this a safe
group..churchgoers or...a gang of thieves? i saw someone displaying
a mighty, impressive sword...but does he keeps it sharpen alot? i have
a few big guns...but unfortunately, a poor shot after drinking a lil' rum...
by the way, who is bringing the coke? rum & coke...goes together..
like pirates & wrenches?

names?..i like birds...parrots too. but birdman dosen't sound like a
pirate...how about lil' bucky for a buccaneer's buckeye.."too corny"
..a pair?..broadsword & his lil' broadside..(my wife would murder me &
there goes the cruise)...if it was just me..."rummy"...or the ruminator,
..or quartermaster...has "patch" been taken? ...ok, i'm no pirate but
my kellogg's cpt. jack's banndana finally came...2 weeks after our last
cruise. p.s..i did received a notice from the transp. security adm. that
they "inspected" my "bag"...& my wife got scanned..does that qualify
us as dangerous? [ if just your funny bone shook, then skipped the
comments}. did i mentioned i drank alot of rum punch? and had my
pic with pirate goofy? scary stuff there! how about captain took? nor
have i given any booty back. and i personally robbed the pirates'
buffet more times you can whistle the jolley rogers!

sorry, i know this is awful. kinda like the demo they did on the 11-dayer-
"gases in action"..check your "personal " navigator...

* bud man, yes- you're indeed a right on crusher, dude :thumbsup2
no wonder you get the great deals..nothin passes your one good
eye! don't mean to put you on the spot, but did you leave your
marks anywhere in the room? [ you pirate!]

ok..while it's self evident, we're only pirartes want ta bees, would
do "room setting"..esp. the walt suite...when you real pirates are
campin out in the halls...for pins?

and who this stacey wrench? & how often does she "stands" up, or
"assuming the pirate's gallows ", on a balcony...in celebration of
her birthday suit..something, iam sure all pirates are dying to witness?
is this when the timbers are rattlin and the heat is on? sure to
bring lots of film. { i'm already getting the pic..thanks goodness, my
best matey fast asleep}.

no kidding...hoping, crashdude gets a tag, then i can be "the no/sey-tag
pirate...out to have some wrenches, treasures and rummy!" arrgh yeppie,
would then be my parrot's name. just saying.

oh, those that mentioned donny and marie..brought back an horid-flying
memory when i had to take my sister to one of their concerts. did
get a picture of all 5 brothers singing down by the lazy river..that's
was a real song. ha! it was worth it...got to go to a grand funk railroad
concert ...remember them? anyone here dig "chad & jermy?"

So, your occupation poses some problems with a Columbian visit? Or is it you are a foreign national in the USA?

No no, I'm a Citizen ;) It's the job. Columbia is one of "those" countries that gets our Security folks :headache: riled up!

LOL!
Well there is a stop in Aruba too, right?

Yeah I forgot poor Aruba! But they won't care about Aruba as much as that other place :sad2:

hello everyone
you can add us to the list for this cruise. we have decide to cancel our transatlantic cruise and do the ca to fl repo.
Jill

Wow that's great Jill. It will be great to see you again. (or less or you perhaps.;)

Cross your fingers for me on the 8th......

So Me: "Well look, it's a Disney Cruise! Nothing is going to happen to us. Hell, I'm not even taking my gun. And it's not like we're staying there for a week! The ship only stays in port for 8-10 hours at most."

Are you FBI,CIA,Police? Why do they have to process paperwork? (Just curious)

Andy: Have you thawed out? Still grumpy? Nah not you! ;)

What is the question of the evening? Here I am able to post away while the boys watch wrestling & DD is sleeping & not much chatter! :confused3

Went to bed early last night and actually slept in until 6am this morning. Walking around in that cold all day took a toll on me. I'm not a Spring pup anymore!!! :rotfl:

The countdown has 4 days until call-in day!!!!! :yay:

Morning andy, your a member of the DISS inner circle and nothing gets past you fella, heard anything about prices yet?,will we be able to do this cruise without me selling a kidney or a Piece of my liver?....come on sir i NEED TO KNOW....:rotfl2:

Thanks, I am another one who doesn't understand that byte thingy. If I get rid of my cheer logo could I add pirate logo and repo ticker?

I am Sooooo difficult I know. As soon as this baby is booked my post will reflect it.:thumbsup2

Good Morning Tina,

If you leave in your current countdown ticker 5877 bytes and then replace the current cheer logo with pirate: Captain Jack's cruise banner 40,582 bytes, this will give you 46,459 total bytes, so you would be within the 50,000 bytes limit. :thumbsup2
