Welcome Jill! Such beautiful girls & one obviously so very brave! There are updates on page 1 of all the chatter that's been going on. It's very hard to keep up with these pirates but just chime in....I certainly do! pirate:

Okay....speaking of whistling while you work.....If you were one of the Seven Dwarves (Dwarfs?) which one would you be?

Count me in as Doc--or at least I like to think so. (Could just be me ego--attorneys don't have those do they?

I think everyone going on this cruise should have the cruise logo in there signature .....you can make yours smaller if you would like ...

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

pirate:

Ok, I failed the first time trying but will keep at it. I am confessing that we are going. The logo is just a confirmation of that.

Okay...I really need someone to summarize every 500 or so posts!! Step away for a day or so and 1000 posts go by!
I'm going on my cruise next week....I expect you'll be hitting 10000 by the time I get back!!:lmao:

Now with the loss of unlimited internet access we will have to take turns up-dating each other on what is going on. A separate up-date for the Happy and Laid Back cruisers planning on joining Captain Jack's crew!!

Andy: Have you thawed out? Still grumpy? Nah not you! ;)

What is the question of the evening? Here I am able to post away while the boys watch wrestling & DD is sleeping & not much chatter! :confused3

I guess I'll go curl up with a good book & dream of a handsome pirate! pirate: I suppose the posting will pick up when I leave & I'll still have dozens of pages to catch up tomorrow. G'nite me mateys!

Chat is open for the taking right now everyone. :)

We have never been to CA so we are going to spend 5-7 days there with friends from our 12/9 cruise...some who will be on the May repo.

Yeah, we're doing DL too, probably coming in the Thurs night before and having Fri and Sat. at DL and Hollywood. I have an aunt and uncle who live just outside LA that we'll want to at least have dinner with one night.

DD was 3 on our first cruise & came home doing that dance & her version of the song.

Etc...

HELLO THERE JILL!!!!!! It is going to be AWSOME cruising with all of you again!!!! Will it be the entire group or just your family this time? Keeping you in our prayers tonight. :grouphug:

First post here for me. I initially thought I'd wait and see if we get a cabin on Wednesday, but after I spent about 4 hours last night flipping through pages 1-183 last night, and finally catching up tonite, figure I need to at least say "hey".

My DW is expecting to finish her PhD by early next year, so this will be a little dangling carrot out there for her :teacher: = :sail: with :smickey: . We would be bringing our DDs, who will be ages 9 and 7 at sailing. We have one DCL cruise under our belts, a 7-day Eastern in Jan 2005.

Because of the $30,000+ we have/are investing in wife's PhD, we'll probably look at somewhere around a Cat 9 & 10 for budget reasons (depending on cost and availability on Wed.). Wife actually was wanting to do Atlantis in Nassau for her graduation celebration. I started pricing out the cost of that trip. Atlantis rooms were $400-500/nt and up, but no food or entertainment included, so figuring another $200/day for food/entertainment for 4 and just one week there would probably run us close to $4,500 or more. Thought that two weeks on Magic for a little more and a visit to 4 different countries sounded more tempting.

I did skim the entire thread page by page. It looks like a fabulous group (and quite a bit of competition on Wednesday). Actually have a couple things in common with CBJHOCKEYNUT. First, we are Columbus Blue Jacket PSL holders & Fans. Also, I'm 99.99% sure you're daughter plays on the same hockey team with my nephew. He is on a team called the Wild and is number 27. I only realized when you mentioned your daughter scored a goal last weekend and I thought "Hmm....my parents mentioned that the girl on Drew's team scored a goal". I talked to my sister tonite after they went to the Sabres game and she confirmed that she knew your family was missing tournaments for an upcoming Disney cruise and did one about every year.

Silly Tina!!!:rotfl:
That's what happens when you stare at this thread for soooooo long.:surfweb:

Oohhh
Well I must still need sleep because I'm still not sure I understand. You were the one that posted that in jest... right? Or are you saying someone actually DID pay that much for Cat 1. color me confused. :rotfl:

Only in jest, don't worry I believe cat 1 is still available.:rotfl2:

Joel,

:welcome: You got me--great detective work!! It would be great to have your family join. My wife just mentioned that she remembered that Drew had been on DCL before. Any chance they also join in? The more the merrier. There is also at least one other Columbus-area family hoping to get on board.

Nicholas

P.S. Her first goal of the season last weekend was VERY exciting!!

If you do want the banner...it would put you over the 50000 byte mark. ;) Just FYI.

Thanks, I am another one who doesn't understand that byte thingy. If I get rid of my cheer logo could I add pirate logo and repo ticker?

I am Sooooo difficult I know. As soon as this baby is booked my post will reflect it.:thumbsup2

Thanks. I asked Jodee...she's hesitant because of the baby...she said she'd rather wait until her daughter's at least 3. I mentioned to our parents too, they said they'd look at it.

Hoping for a good showing on Wednesday.:dance3:

Yes, that will work. :)

Thanks, I am another one who doesn't understand that byte thingy.

The size of an image is measured in bytes, in most cases thousands of bytes hence the abbreviation "KB" for kilobytes.

To keep the forums moving smoothly with hopefully little or no delay of pages loading the DISboard "powers that be" have asked us to keep our images to a certain size.

Many programs that create web graphics use some form of image compression to keep the image file sizes small.

If you opened up Windows Explorer (assuming you have a PC) and looked at your images you may see something like this which shows the image name, size, type, and date modified. If you keep your image under 50 KB you're doing good. I hope this helps.
