First post here for me. I initially thought I'd wait and see if we get a cabin on Wednesday, but after I spent about 4 hours last night flipping through pages 1-183 last night, and finally catching up tonite, figure I need to at least say "hey".
My DW is expecting to finish her PhD by early next year, so this will be a little dangling carrot out there for her

. We would be bringing our DDs, who will be ages 9 and 7 at sailing. We have one
DCL cruise under our belts, a 7-day Eastern in Jan 2005.
Because of the $30,000+ we have/are investing in wife's PhD, we'll probably look at somewhere around a Cat 9 & 10 for budget reasons (depending on cost and availability on Wed.). Wife actually was wanting to do Atlantis in Nassau for her graduation celebration. I started pricing out the cost of that trip. Atlantis rooms were $400-500/nt and up, but no food or entertainment included, so figuring another $200/day for food/entertainment for 4 and just one week there would probably run us close to $4,500 or more. Thought that two weeks on Magic for a little more and a visit to 4 different countries sounded more tempting.
I did skim the entire thread page by page. It looks like a fabulous group (and quite a bit of competition on Wednesday). Actually have a couple things in common with CBJHOCKEYNUT. First, we are Columbus Blue Jacket PSL holders & Fans. Also, I'm 99.99% sure you're daughter plays on the same hockey team with my nephew. He is on a team called the Wild and is number 27. I only realized when you mentioned your daughter scored a goal last weekend and I thought "Hmm....my parents mentioned that the girl on Drew's team scored a goal". I talked to my sister tonite after they went to the Sabres game and she confirmed that she knew your family was missing tournaments for an upcoming
Disney cruise and did one about every year.
