8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 2

Lisa : All set for Wednesday now to put in new logo. I talked with a very nice CM today and put the additional 750.00 deposit on my dummy date. Told her what I was planning on doing to make it easier just to transfer ressie, she laughed and said like you and 5,000 other people. She did confirm no holding on phone before 8:00 am

I got off phone thinking magic doesn't even hold 5,000 people boy oh boy do I hope she is bad with numbers.

Okay, I'll admit ignorance over this one What's the benefit of transfering from another cruise date vs. just calling in from scratch? Available is available, no? Or is it that you'll be off the phone faster since all the pax information is already on file?

I do have Forida Gator crocs. All the islanders on this last cruise thought that was amusing in theory of gator crocs. Kind of like a double negative thing.

Because they had booked another cruise while on board and received the on board rebooking discount of 10% off and the onboard credit. They want to be able to keep that stuff.

I think you just said it best ! No real advantage, just think it will be a little bit easier as the required deposit will already be taken care of.

We are moving slow this morning.........Doing homeschool here too and checkin back over here and nothing is happening.

Lisa----you have got to be the best special finder. That is a great savings at Target. Unfortunately since like Arlene said it is in the 30s here in Orlando today----I think I will stay home. UhOH watch those postings go up. You know more than that is when it is cold here in Florida it can never just be still ----the wind is howling which makes it seem so much colder. Can you imagine al those poor tourists. I wonder if they packed thinking it would be sunny and warm.......

Judy: Justwanted you to know that my DD & I will be those poor tourists in like 19 days. Any hope of getting out of this snow for warmer weather?

'90-'93 (graduated early). My DSs have never lived in Ohio, and I haven't started brainwashing them yet, but if figure if a free military academy eduation was good enough for their father it will be good enough for them! Think of the trip we could take with 2 college funds!!! Anything but Buckeyes or Red Hawks (or whatever PC name Miami (OH) had to change to). How old are your DDs??

So what is everyone having for dinner? Haven't quite decided what I am going to do with the chicken in th fridge........I was thinking maybe homemade Chicken and dumplings. Salad with strawberries, pecans, and goat cheese with balsamic vinaigrette. I bought chocolate chip cookie dough and my kids already at it all.

Oh, save me some salad!
We're having buttermilk oven 'fried' chicken, homemade mac'n'cheese, somekinda veg - carrots maybe.

Whew! Caught up on the last 10 pages...

All this talk about specifying a stateroom to the TA to ask for makes me a bit nervous...
We have only sailed in a Cat. 9 Deck 2 but am willing to splurge on a Cat. 6 since it will be 15 nights and lots to see.
Now, are there more desirable Cat. 6 rooms? Are there really UNdesirable Cat 6 rooms? How are those AFT with the solid wall balcony?

Acutally, I suspect that after the dust settles, even if it takes until 90 days out when all payments are due, rooms will open up and if we had a less than perfect room, we could likely switch.
Ya think?
