I'm waiting to see what happens on Wed before I put the pirate in my sig. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get what I want - DH said earlier today that we might as well book it because no matter what, it is a once in a lifetime thing.

I was staring at it for like 5 minutes trying to figure out if my 'puter was acting up, did I now need glasses, if the pirates ghosts were coming alive, or if you just did that on purpose.

I seriously thought I was losin' it there.

I think everyone going on this cruise should have the cruise logo in there signature .....you can make yours smaller if you would like ...

As was previously mentioned - I'll wait until Wednesday... even though I'm 90-99% sure we'll go.

This may seem un-DIS-like ... but I don't know what "wpasadi" translates into... someone what to elighten me?

Dang! I sent my TA an email but have not heard from her. I am not sure if she is even in town. That means w/ DU no longer taking reservations, I am going to be playing the cruise version of dialing for Cinderella's Castle Breakfast reservations.
So, if I don't get in on the phones very early in the morning, I may miss out on the best pricing?

Neither young nor thin but definitely young at heart! Dressing up for pirate night is a blast, especially when you get a lifestyle (I think that's what it's called) portrait done with fun poses & a white background. My DH was skeptical & ended up being his favorite pic from the cruise!

I am sooooo looking forward to copying that banner into my sig. but that will be in honor of actually booking this darn cruise. I am so afraid I'll gasp with shock and hang up!

I like your attitude! I am definitely young at heart (not quite the wording my gang uses, but I like yours much better!). I don't know that I would be able to convince my hubbie and teens to dress, but if I wouldn't look out of place at my age ( I will be celebrating a big one earlier that year and unfortunately it's NOT 40!) I would love to dress up! I sooo hope I can get a cabin I can afford!

Hubbie told me I should at least mention it to the college age son, and my mom said I should mention it to my sister, so our group may end up getting bigger!

I agree with you on waiting to book before adding the pic. Actually, I don't know how to put any of those things in the post. I had wanted to post pics of my AKL safaris, but never figured that out. Heck, I don't even know how to do the smilies!

I only had 12 pages to get caught up on! DD didn't get a PCF, but was upset some kid in latchkey cut up a paper she was coloring. Hit the Disney Store and madness struck me to the tune of $25 for a really cool pirate t-shirt! DD got PJ Minnie! Hey, I've got a gift card!

Wickedly Perfect Amazing Survivor Apprentice DIS Idol.....I think

It's a contest the DIS boards are running. There are teams and challenges and each week more teams get elminated. Then it moves down to individual challenges. I was representing the Budget Board, but we got eliminated after the 3rd challenge. The Cruise team was set to be eliminated after the 3rd, but won immunity. Unfortunately they didn't make it past the 4th challenge.

... ME??? ... spreading CHAOS? Shoot ... I havn't even started with the Mickey Ice Cream Bar Speed Eating CHallenge yet? SO the chaos has not YET BEGUN!!!! <chuckles>

So = I'm still tryin' to read backwards to catch up to the last point where I left off - it's gonna take me hours... then I'll have to reread backawards to catch up to THIS point! Arrrrrr! A pirates life is indeed an endless voyage it seems!

Aside from all that - thanks for your kind remarks, the family is fine. It's the Dad who's still sort of unbalanced! <chuckles>

People of ALL ages dress up! Just tell them that my DH didn't want to dress up either & only wanted a POTC t-shirt. Well pirate night came & he said "geez I look like a shmuck next to you guys". He really regretted it when he saw how our pics came out!

You can add smilies just by clicking on the smilies to the right of the posting box & they will show up. There is a tech board that will give you step by step instructions on how to add an image to your signature. It takes me a while sometimes because I'm not so computer literate myself but if I can do it...anyone can!

This t-shirt is pink, kind of looks air brushed!
