(I'm thing 1; the other person is my co-worker who holds the same job type as me so the designation fits as thing1/thing2)

Arlene!

Hope you guys are well in sunny Orlando! Say hi to Rich for us.:)

Wish you guys were here. Weather just perfect:goodvibes

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Yes, training classes are so FUN!!! At least the guy went through it pretty quickly. Several years ago when I was with a different bank, they made me register my business as a MSB(Money Services Business) becasue I sold money orders, You only have to do this if you yourself are the money order company--I made them straighten out the mess with the IRS.:sad2:

I am sure in some areas there are lots of problems going on, our customers just use money orders for rent and utilities. If customers come in and say they need like $2000 or more in moneyorders, we refuse them. It is too dangerous in a gas station to have that much money in a transaction. You never know who is watching.:sad2:
Yeah, they could come back and try to rob you for the cash.

Hey Arlene I think Cheryl has been doing that for years:rotfl:

John

That's cute. I can never think of things like that.

I was in Barnes and Noble today picking up some GCs for the kids and saw a really nice book on POC.If the kids were into it I would've bought it for them.I am having such trouble buying for them this year. Mostly GCs. They would rather have the cold cash but it is safer this way. Of course on their list is xbox etc.....We decided to start toning down all the expensive electronics. The older ones are always looking for new clothes.

Got my email from Disney Destinations about the 2009 trips. Hope this works

happy belated b-day...to dhauffy~~~:bday: , welcome to thee club,

:hippie:

Congrats, Andrew . . . I was not wowed by what DCL released for 2009 so I may not be sailing with them that year . . . at least it frees up plans so that we can do something else!

Yes an anti climax they should have been more bold with new ships coming however I can wrap a Florida holiday around it.

Here's hoping everyone has a great Tuesday. I get to go to money laundering training today:woohoo: :woohoo: :)

I lost my bag of $50s in the laundry, can you check and see if you can locate it?

WOW!

Watching AWE in our home on blue ray! Really cool! Nice picture. Lots of nice extras!

LOL I am doing the same thing except I think the extras this time fell way short from DMC disc ...I thought for sure this one would be loaded ...very disappointed with the AWE DVD ...The Movie was great was just hoping for more then 2 deleted scenes , I thought for sure we would get more of the Calypso and DJ story and the 10 secs they cut out of the Movie when they were talking in the ship's jail

OK, so we'll come stay at your place in London while you're gone!!!

Of course:-

Address is:-

1 The Mall,
Green Park.
London
WC1.

After getting off the plane, ask the Taxi for, Buck House, and when you get there, say Andrew is a Friend of Liz, :thumbsup2

There is some noise at 11am each day, from a local army band but thats a good alarm clock.

Yes, you gave me that address before when I was sending you a birthday present -- sent a REALLY GOOD ONE, too, but it was returned because "Andrew" apparently no longer lives there, just his mum . . .

Did you put PRINCE in front of ANDREW, they do forward! (not return)

Booked a 7 Night Eastern Carribean for August 2009.

Congrats Andrew. I know you've been waiting for an announcement.

Congrats, Andrew . . . I was not wowed by what DCL released for 2009 so I may not be sailing with them that year . . . at least it frees up plans so that we can do something else!

We were hoping for something a little more different, not just one port. But we're trying to come up with a really good trip for summer 2009 after graduation. So I'm actually glad that it's not a "can't miss" trip and frees up some time for something completely different. Now 2010 and 2011, new ships...that's another story!

I finally got my Halloween picture off my cell.

Looks great Kristina! Cool idea.

First chance I have had to get on this thread all day. Not very excited about the 2009 sailings, but Hazel and I decided to go with the 10/24/09 Eastern, as that day is our 34th wedding anniversary. So far, Angelina hasn't decided if she wants to sail with us or not, especially with it being our Anniversary Cruise...................;) ;) ;)

Sounds great Andy. I know you guys will have a great cruise.

I priced Christmas week and New Year's week. Prices weren't as bad as I expected, but still a little too much for us. I think vacation time will be an issue, too. I'll be atr a new job, and Linda isn't supposed to take vacation from Dec 15-Jan 15.

A fellow DIS'er, booked Hazel and I a fake 2008 date, which we were able to switch to 10/24/09. Since we will still be sailing with this family, we were able to get the 10% discount and $200 onboard booking credit. We selected a SPH cabin and our cost was $1941 for the two of us.

Finally caught up......been busy and then vacation.

First let me start off by saying.........if your read a post that says..........you've been warned ......click here to skip the fluff please follow those direction!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: You guys had a grand ole time !!!!!!!

Vacation really was :sad2:

Here is the weather report for Punta Cana DR Sun 11/11-Fri 11/16
Sunday Beautiful sunshine hot & humid
Monday Monsooning (is that a word? ) Rain
Tuesday Pouring Rain
Wednesday MORE RAIN
Thursday *** You guessed it****
Friday Beautiful Sunshine until noon and then our friend the Rain returned

We still had a good time and got our moneys worth with the all-inclusive, since there was NOTHING else to do but
:drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

This is what happens when I allow my husband to make vacation decisions!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have been in WDW as I type had I not let him decide!!!
:furious:

:grouphug: :grouphug: pixiedust: pixiedust:
to ALL those that have needed it

Chrissie the dress is beautiful .......

HMMMM I'm drawing a blank on everything else I wanted to say to everyone...................

As you can see DH has a hard time following directions!!!!!

We'll keep them warm for you. We booked our airfare to Paris and back from London last week and are working on our hotels now. We'll be there for nine days in late March. (And of course be paying a visit to our pal Mickey -- I will now have been in every country there is a Disney theme park (although I never got to visit the parks in Hong Kong or Tokyo)
