Ok what about me LG, I can think of some very good nicknames for me at the moment,

I went to Hospital this morning to have some bone marrow taken out for examination.

This involved four holes being drilled in my right hand side Butt, right up and into the hip bone and boy does it hurt.

The Doctor said I had very strong bones, he couldn't do two holes as my bones were so strong, good news as I am on steroids and they waste bones.

Now -don't laugh, I cannot sit on my right hand side, the 'local' has worn off and I have a pain in my XXXX!

Andrew, at least now you HAVE a pain in the a** instead of being one . . . And no, I'm not laughing . . .

I actually knew that your test was going to be pretty nasty but I thought it was better for you not to dread it . . . When do you hear the results? I hope they are able to figure this out. Be sure to let me know.

... I know a little about collecting bone marrow samples as my Mother had hers taken some time ago and it was indeed a complicated pain.

On another note... I goning to venture a couple thoughts. First - whatever they are testing for I am guessing we want a NEGATIVE finding. And second... I'd like to otherwise offer hopes for the most managable, favorable possible results.

Aside from that... Try to stay off that sore _ _ _ _ .

Come on, Andrew -- the people who really DESERVE to get big holes bored into their backsides never seem to! Don't get yourself any lower trying to justify it -- it's just bad luck and they needed to do the test to figure out what is going on with you. I hope for a positive result -- but something that is readily repaired and will get you on the way to full recovery well before the cruise.

Hazel just made some homemade rice pudding. It was smelling so good as it was cooking that I had her give me a bowl as soon as it was finished. Boy, did is taste good nice and hot. Took the chill off my cold bones!!!
