Great pic's!

Safe travels tomorrow - and yes it is cold back here in the northeast. While traveling the Mass Pike on Saturday we saw SNOW:eek:!

I think we got the last Cat 6 GTY because we don't have a cabin assignment either (plus I'm embarrassed to admit to how much we spent for it:sad2: )

We are also in a Cat6 GTY. We went thru a TA and by the time they got on with DCL to transfer our existing ressie with the OBD from DCL the price of the Cat 9 was higher than the Cat 6 - even with the discount:scared1:.

Lorri, what a CRAZY ANXIOUS day that was:rolleyes: :goodvibes

I'm off to go pick my ST up from work...............see y'all tomorrow.............

..... [edited] ....

Diane..since I was one of the guilty people creating a lot of fluff, I did not know how to express my feelings.:confused3 You just said it all for me. Without chatting, how can we get to know each other??? I am looking to meet people who will enhance my whole experience of my cruise. I might even be lucky enough to call some of the people real friends after the cruise.:cloud9: The information we all need for the cruise is everywhere on the internet. The people who will make my cruise more enjoyable are found on this thread.

Do you suppose that this "I might even be lucky enough to call some of the people real friends after the cruise" includes the shifty ones who are constantly droning about thier claims of "innocence" or those who spontaneously chant "TAKE WHAT YA CAN" for no apparent reason regularly...

Roger, your pictures were wonderful. Enjoy your new camera:cool1:

Our youngest dog, Taiko has a shoe fetish.

Here's a recent picture of the perpertrator ...

taikothief.jpg

Um... Don't they take points off for Shoe Theft? How are you *ever* going to take him to champion? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Do you have to be paid in full before you can book excursions and Palo and spa?

Yup... Sucks, but there it is.

Just a drive by post, I've got to be up at 4:30 tomorrow for work.

See ya all later.

Yeah - we're motoring out in the early AM too to get to the airport. Gonna go see my new nephew in Boston - and serve as babysitter for my niece while BIL stays with Mom in the hospital. Or so that is the plan!

Maybe we'll slip away on Friday for the fabled BLACK FRIDAY in the Boston area. Not sure though if that will come off though. Ya' know - the Boston folks drive like maniacs in some ways so we're cautious of the idea of venturing too far on such a crazy shopping day.

Anyways - I'll feeling sort of wierd with the busy schedule lined up for the next few weeks - sort of an uneasy tense anxiety. Odd, eh?

Delta changed my Orlando to Louisville flight also. They cancelled my nonstop 1:15pm and moved me to 10:30am (no way I want to even try that one:scared1: ). I am leaving it for now hoping they bring back my nonstop flight, if I changed now and they added my flight back they told me I would have to pay a change fee later. So I am going to wait until it gets closer. At least my fare is safe.:)

My plane ride for my last cruise changed 14 times.:sad2: A week before the cruise, United had me coming back from Orlando at 9 am(my orginal was 1 pm.). I found out by Only looking at my flight online. I was not notified!! I called United explained I might still be in the middle of the ocean.:headache: That is why I always have vouchers for money off my next flight.:rolleyes1

Good Morning All

Very cold here today, but then I heard it is supposed to be 60 by Thanksgiving - I bet that will make the Black Friday shoppers happy. Does anyone do the Black Friday thing around here? I usually do, but not this year. I think that there are going to be some killer sales the closer we get to Christmas this year. I don't know about other parts of the country, but around here the economy is really choking. I know several people that have taken their house off the market since summer because they just can't afford to move if their house sells at waht the market will allow. What a difference a year makes.

See we had a pirate run this weekend - Congrats Mike.

Thanks for the festive smilies Tom, Diane, Cheryl & Chrissie. I love them!!!!

Tom, thanks for the newsletter. I appreciate the hard work that must go into putting it together each month :)

Diane - you said it perfectly  . This has turned out to be a great group of people and even if you can't post much, jump on in when you can. On my last cruise, some of the nicest people I met hadn't posted much on our thread at all, but once we were on the cruise I got to know them better than some of the regular posters. Sometimes it just works out that way.

I am going to be visiting a non regular poster from my last cruise next weekend in Wisconsi.:woohoo:

Mary Ann, I have NO PLANS to hit the stores on black friday. It has probably been at least 5 years or longer since I've gone out. Too many rude people. How have you been feeling?:)

Talk about rude people, I was once shoved against a rack of glass shelves in a Disney Store. :scared1: Other times I met the nicest people standing in line with me for hours. :goodvibes

Spent the weekend in Palm Desert at the DILs. Weather was great upper 80's. Went biking, fishing and swimming. Pictures from my new camera

Wow Roger ......What beautiful pictures.:thumbsup2

WOW, now I don't feel so bad.............:rotfl:

Getting near time for me to head back out the door and get some more meters read, see y'all later...........

How are the knees doing Andy???:confused3 What a difference cold weather makes on my knees.:sad2:

Hope Borrke feels beter soon... I obviously have some experience with "wounded" little ones... but then again, you need a break too... so you just try to take it easy while managing things... ya' hear!

Thanks Tom but I believe the saying goes.........well if Mom is still sick, she still has to do everything. I had another setback.:sad2: I had a 1/2 inch inside stitch pop through and started bleeding at site. I am being assured everything is fine but am feeling sick to my stomach. They cleaned me up today and put me on a bland diet. Brooke is doing quite well.

Now this was REALLY your wedding cake?!?! They're wonderfully extraordinary! Wow... I'm so impressed with the Mickey and Minnie cake! May I ask how they finished them? Well - what I mean to say is - were they a particular flavorof filling? And were these made by a Disney bakery of some kind? I can;'t quite tell from the background whether this was takn on the MAGIC or Wonder - as we don't get into Palos' very often... and it looks as if the background MIGHT have been Palos'???

Yes we were on the 4 day wonder and Disney did the cake on the ship. We had a choice of different fillings and we chose a strawberry mouse. Reception was during the day so when we had our private dinner that night we sen't cake for waiters and to other diser's sitting at a nearby table to enjoy.:thumbsup2

No, this isn't Harley!

Here's one of ours. Color has faded a bit over the years I'm afraid,it was a 5tiered white with baby blue roses. I'll have to find a picture of the "cake" part..it was dyed Blue too!

P1010105.jpg

And one for extra messure.
P1010104.jpg

Still a great pic. even though it isn't Harley ! Love the expression on your face while Kevin is licking the knife.:rotfl2:

Tina, I sure hope you get fully recouperated:hug:

I'm glad Brooke is feeling better. I can totally relate to when Mom is sick she still has to do everything:rolleyes1 (what is up with that?)

Hey, 897 posts till a pirate:

Anyone up for a run?

I am ! Probaly will help with all the Ketchup I need to do ! Thanks for the great newsletter. It is my New Year's Resolution to send in my info again with pics.

Not tonight dear, I have a headache. :headache:

:lmao: :lmao:

I'm afraid this is the worst possible place to seek help . . . sort of like an alcoholic asking for help in a bar or a sexaholic in Scores . . . or a drug addict at a Rolling Stones concert . . .

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ditto !

I don't know Cheryl. I heard you were innocent! ;) Thank you!

I completely agree that there are many people here I would be proud to call friend, you included of course! :flower3:

I have had PM's sent to me saying intimidating, but not 'bad mouth' we just all talk to much!!!:rotfl2:

Not me??:lmao: :goodvibes

I drove through sn*w today..... yuck!

If you are a true friend, keep the white stuff there.:rolleyes1

Around here, most of the meters are inside of the house. Our newest type of meters are called touch pad meters, and I have to plug in a machine to the side of the house in order to read the meter, so I have no choice but to walk around to get the readings. The town next to us have meters that are hooked up to the telephone lines, a computer in the office sends a signal to the meter and the meter sends the reading back to the computer. I don't like that system, it puts people out of work.

I live in one of those communities that now send through the phone lines. Now I have to pay a water bill every month instead of every three months.:headache:

I know it's a little early, but we got our Christmas cards in the mail today and I thought I'd share it with all of you, especially since I don't have many of your addresses, this our Christmas Greeting :santa: to you!!!

There always an exception to every rule. You are the exception.:goodvibes

Cheryl, right into a glass shelf:scared1: I tell you there are just some crazy shoppers out there that make it hazardous for us friendly folks.

I am really pretty flexible except when it comes to my airlines reservations. I wish they would leave the durn things alone. I just don't think they realize all the concentration and planning that went into making them:mad: Those vouchers sure came in handy for you though;) --still not worth the aggravation.:)
