I'm so glad that you had such a great time! The last time I was in SA was about.....23 yrs ago for my sister's graduation from Air Force boot camp.... :rotfl: :rotfl: It's only about 4 1/2 hrs away you would think we could drive down sometime...... :rotfl:

I can do ya better than that. This was my first trip to S.A. since I graduated Medic Training from Ft. Sam in 1977...that's 30 years ago :scared1: The River Walk was just beginning and only had a few resturaunts and night clubs. I spent every weekend down there.

From ladypoo :

Nothing like reopening old wounds with misinformation....

1. Lisa is not a member of the other board...her IP address has been banned since the orignial banning started taking place on the DIS. Check with Travis.
Pretty nice since your website boost a free and public interaction for all without fear of repriasal.

2. Members of the DIS did not Profit from your site at HoJo's. Even on your own site it was clarified that it was an honest mistake of the HOTEL STAFF when receiving reservations from both groups.

So next time you wish to come over here and disrupt things PLEASE tell the truth or just stay there and let us be.

Thanks for correcting your post.

Why can't everyone just get along? Why is there a part of this group that is so afraid of any other group/site that others are attacked for being friends with those who do not DIS?

I had a post on this thread edited for TELLING THE TRUTH...... it's sad that things have come to this.

And I had to post this one when I saw "it". Can you believe that somebody actually allowed their son to dress like this to the graduation? Where's the respect anymore?

Well....my dh was thinking about this very outfit for one of the formal nights. I'm guessing you would not approve? ;)

Sounds fun! Living north of Philly, we've done most of those locations, you will have a ball.

I'm curious to see what you think of ABD when you are back.

This will be the first time that the two children (that are going with me -- 16dd & 9ds) or I have been to the East coast!

Dh has been to all of the places and is so excited for us!

I will be more then happy to share about the ABD! It took me months to decide on which trip to take! Originally 16dd & I were going to do the London/Paris.
I really want to take one of the new ones in 2008 but, with the repo in August and then 2 wks in Korea/Austrailia in July (16dd and I are going to World Youth Day -- we're Catholic).
And I want one a cruise out of Galvaston -- we would save at least $1,000 just because of no airfare for the 5 of us! LOL!

Thanks Jules! :thumbsup2

.......... I transferred the information to Theresa, then updated it deleting everyone's name and info who participates on the other site from it so that they would not have access to our information and noone would be able to get their information either.

dh chrisva-
This is what brought to light why others information would not be with the original submissions.

IF her IP was banned on the other site - how was she "deleting everyone's name and info who participates on the other site??????

How was she able to cross reference anything. And truly what difference does it make if someone has an id on both? Both sites are set up to share information regarding DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!! There are several others out there too. Ya know it is the way of the internet.... to seek out information (the good the bad and the ugly). Unfortunately like in life a few bad eggs tend to ruin it for a whole bunch. I am going on a trip to places I never would have thought of ever going.... I want all the information I can get.

Take the light off me... I am back to lurking! Good night.

Philadelphia, Washington DC and Williamsburg! :)

We are going to have so much fun!!! :yay:

Yes...... you are and without me!!!:sad2:

I just wanted to mention that I think you attached the wrong ID for that quote.....I think it was actually ladypoo's words. :)

Edited to add: nevermind...you fixed it!

I just got an invitation to join WBPC where everyone likes each other.:sad2: We are starting to get a reputation and it is not a very nice one.

They've added quite a few more rides throughout the park that all ages/sizes can ride --- I can't remember how many they brought up from Astroworld.....
I know because now I don't *have* to stay in Looneytune land with 6dd all day anymore. ;) She's really small for her age so, even though she is 6 she isn't tall enough to ride really good rides. ;)

I never go on weekends either..... I think water is $2..... It's been a month or since I've been though. ;)
The only time I've gone on weekends is when I have a season pass and so it doesn't matter if I get to ride many rides. But honestly I don't like standing in long lines.... I'm against long lines. Isn't everyone? LOL

Well it's not just the HEIGHT thing, it's also that when they are that little (atleast with Rita..) she also doesn't WANT to ride some bigger rides that she'd still be tall enough for, at that age doesn't like to walk around a lot (without a stroller like WDW has) and/or doesn't like standing in line AT ALL. It's a combination of things. Usually by the time they are tall enough to ride almost all and/or all the rides (ie: over 48 inches) they can handle the walking, want to ride the rides, and can "deal" with some standing in line. Yanno?
I don't live far from Six Flags- atleast not far in "texas terms" of far. LOL It's about a 40-45min drive for us which to some might seem far but for us it's not a big deal at all. I've been going there since I was a wee one- I know all the rides they have. (still wish WDW was here instead :rotfl: )

Lisa how can you have deleted every ones's name that participates on the "other board"? Did you also delete yours, as you are registered over there also?
Can we not share all the information, as YA'LL have also profitted from some of "our" plannings. Such as the discount from the Howard Johnson's in Anaheim?
Ladypoo- I can vouch that YOUR name and info was still on the list. When he posted it and I looked at it- your name/info was on there... :confused3

I never expected to see my name and politically correct in the same sentence.... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl:
Me neither!
*ducks*

Hey! I live in Arlington! :)
I'm sorry I forgot about you! I'm so bad... :guilty:
Arlington isn't that far from me... (see above post about Six Flags)

Isn't my location in my aviator? :confused3 I'm in Arlington.......
I'm sorry!! :(

Thank you. We are so,so proud of him! He missed Honors Graduate by 2 stinking points. But he maintained Flight Leader for most all of his phase. He said he didn't run quite, fast enough and that's why he missed it. He's a good kid. He'll be 21 in Oct. he's also a newlywed :groom: (June 9th). I'll have to find a picture of his bride:bride: to post.

Update:
Found one!

awwwww
He's so handsome and she's so beautiful! congrats to him! :)

oh yeah... I forgot to post some good news I "came across" recently. Remember I was worried that even if school started later here that my eldest, going into highschool the 2008-2009 school year, would need to REGISTER right smack during the time we were gone on the cruise?
Well if this year is any indication- it shouldn't be a problem. This year they start school Aug 27th and I noticed signs up out front of the highschool the other day that said freshman orientation/registration on Aug 6th. That's 21 days before school starts. So if they do the same thing next year- we shouldn't have any problems with missing that before the cruise.
:woohoo:

What a sweetie - we dithered between a dalmation & a golden. Maybe next time:thumbsup2

How could you be confused. :confused3 Please refer back about 20 pages where I revisited the hallucinogenic properties of my beloved Nutmeg. :hippie: :stir:

Maybe it was all the nutmeg?

Disney did do a good job with that. They have a sequel coming out, the next book...

That would be Prince Caspian. They're saying that they're going to do all 7 books, releasing them one a year each May. I'm a little concerned that the quality will suffer with such an optimistic release schedule.

I never expected to see my name and politically correct in the same sentence.... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl:
Ya. Especially without the word "Not" being involved (sorry, Tom, I had to take the shot). :rotfl: :confused3 :rotfl:

First of all she got the information from loyal friends who do have access to your site. See you assume it was all Lisa.. It was alot of us who have been here from day 1 and didn't want to see this thread reduced to this childish gibberish that happens when you guys just can't let it go.....

And second if both sites are setup up to share information then whats the big issue with other people using discounts found on your thread...

OK BIP here is a first draft for your Freak Flag. Tell me if we are going in the right direction. :confused3 Changes can be made.
