Yes, it's just starting to be real . . . we leave three weeks from tomorrow and get back Sept. 1! I'm doing all the planning myself (no Disney excursions) and it's so engrossing that I don't know what I will do with my time this fall. I love the planning stage, though, it's almost as much fun as actually being there.

Sounds like a fabulous trip planned! LUCKY!!!

Planning trips are the best! Though I have been to WDW so many times I still LOVE to plan! (I'm the ringleader!) And we ggo on alot of mini trips to other places and YES I plan the too!

Chrissie

Thanks for the :grouphug:
It was not fun to be sure, but it could have been so much worse. Radiation is done:banana: I'm putting in some long walks every day so I can enjoy WDW in a few weeks:banana:

Yeah, I always wanted to do a trip report, but never found the time and energy to do it:confused3

I'm glad the radiation is over. It sounds like your planning and your training regimen for a summer visit to WDW are exactly what you need right now.  again . . .

Heading toward the finish like a grand prix motor car

Honorable mention for a fine 2nd place finish!

I don't have our tickets yet but we will definitely go the first day, and do the midnight party the night the book comes out, too. I really enjoy the books, having started out reading them out loud to my girls now I think I enjoy them more than they do!

Oh yeah:cool1:
It started out just me reading the first one because I was curious by some of the hype, then my DH was reading to my DS (then 5), now we all read them:woohoo:
DH and I finished the 6th book over a weekend:guilty:

Hi  y'all. It's been quite a while since I've had a chance to check out this thread - much less any other. DD will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and I'm still basically functioning in a fog.

So, can anyone tell me if there's been any important cruise talk in the past couple of months?

Welcome back Robin!

I would say we've just been enjoying one anothers company and chatter more then any significant cruise talk. Of course, I could be wrong...

Someone correct me if I am mistaken?

Congrats on the beautiful baby girl!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I remember those tired early months well . . . don't worry about the thread and we will get all the info together where everyone can read it (much is already there on the first post) so that everyone can go into planning mode early next year.

I agree with you, Crash, we are primarily in social mode now and will switch more to planning mode after the beginning of 2008, I would guess.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! She's a beauty. I remember seeing your countdown timer with the number of months/weeks/days until she was born! Time really flew by for us. Not for you, I bet. ;)

OK...

We're gonna go now to meet up with friends for dinner (puka-de-uppa or L&L for fast food)... then fireworks. We sort of decided not to scramble for space on the observation area at the Jans Mall. The fireworks are quite viewable from anywhere in the area - so we're going to take a relaxed approach tonight... and I think that's just as well....

Maybe I'll have some nice fireworks photos to share from tonight??? :confused3

Good nite folks - TTFN!

I can remember when I was reading the Goblet of Fire to my girls that summer every night before they would go to bed, and then I would read it silently way ahead after they went to bed! It's funny, I can remember where I was when reading each of the books -- for the last one, I was at Westhampton Beach and finished it sitting next to the pool and my middle daughter caught me crying . . .

Congrats again

Four fighter jets just buzzed our house a few times before heading over the Esplanade in Boston. They timed it so they would fly over right at the end of the National Anthem. It was sooooooo cool to see & hear them circle a few times while standing in front of our house. See that? I don't have to go anywhere to get a show! :woohoo:

I wasn't too happy about how the last one ended either:sad2:
I mean I like the story and Rowlings writing style, but she does know how to pull the rug from out under you :guilty:

I'm nervous about this one for that very reason, Laurie . . . I don't think she feels any compulsion to make this arc end up with a "happy ending" . . .I'm still optimistic about it, though.

The RCCL 3 nt cruise we are going on in Aug. has dropped down to a starting price of $179.00 pp. Pretty amazing when you consider what we are all paying for the TOAL! ;) Anyway my sister called & got us a credit of $80 per stateroom. Can you beat it? :woohoo:

WOW, if I wasn't going to be on the Med cruise, I'd join you on this one...that's a great deal

Just lurking and "ketching" up. :surfweb:

I have met some very wonderful people through this board and NOT ONE Axe Murderer!

hmmm are you sure Brack?

OMG :scared1: you guys are killing me with all the posts today so i had to just skip ahead... I can't even find where my last post was. i think the computer musta munched it....

Well glad we didn't try to go to the fireworks...It's raining again like every 15 minutes...

Well BRB off to find and pay some bills.

I've got tickets for the new Harry Potter movie next week:cool1:
Any other fans out there ?
Can't wait for the last book:banana:
We started reading these to my son back in 1999 and now we're all hooked:rolleyes:

How can you beat a book and a movie in the same month!!!
