Wow I bet that must be a blast! They must have really great fireworks in Williamsburg. I am bummed I missed ours last night. They lit a few off, but ran into problems so we waited & waited & finally a family passed us & said they were cancelling them & having them the next night so we left. We arrived home & I was letting the dog out & I could hear the booms in the distance. I was so disappointed, but I figure we'll be in WDW in 4 weeks & then we can see all the fireworks we want!
That is what I told DH today!!!

I really would prefer the fireworks at WDW. I do like the Kingdom the best for fireworks. Epcot does not thrill me like the fireworks over the castle!!
That fellow from Japan finished in second place with 63 hot dogs and buns. I guess his jaw wasn't hurting as much as he was leading on.
I was getting so tired of the man from Japan winning every year.

What channel was it on.

I will see if I can catch it again!!!
I was reading meters that are on the outside of the residents homes. Many of these readers and or touch pad meters are behind bushes. As I was climbing behind one such bush I noticed the poison ivy, I was hoping I hadn't come in contact with it, my luck didn't hold out...............
I was just teasing about being in the woods.

I had poison ivy as a child and I still remember the itching.
I understand, DD turned 13 in May. You look away for a second and when you look back they are all grown up.
We are seeing this with DD21. A few weeks ago she was 8 now she's 21 and engaged to a young man she has been dating for about a year.
He joined the navy as a medic this year and soon she will be off to places unknown. I think he's a good kid and they will do well together.
In a blink of an eye the children are all grown-up and have children of their own.

The best part is becoming a grandparent. You get to have all the fun and none of the work.
We have a plan to do the park in the morning and evening and seek out the air conditioning during the afternoon
I don't want to overdo it. I had a lumpectomy in April and radiation May-June. Don't let anyone tell you you don't need a mammogram without a family history

I really dodged a bullet, they caught mine very early and I'm fine, just tired from the radiation
See we have something very in common.

I had my surgery and radiation 6 years ago from this past May.

The radiation does take a lot of energy out of you.

I dodged the same bullet too! Early detection is the best way to fight the big "C".
Thank you for joining in my "woo hoo for 700"
I'm glad I wasn't alone!!!!
Chrissie
Congrats on the 700th post!!!!

Good try for the pirate too!!!
I think post #66666 sounds like a whole lot more fun.......
Do you have an evil twin too????
And what do you know, I got the 66000!!!
Congrats Andy!!!!

You all made my ketchup a lot harder tonight.
Yes, it's just starting to be real . . . we leave three weeks from tomorrow and get back Sept. 1! I'm doing all the planning myself (no Disney excursions) and it's so engrossing that I don't know what I will do with my time this fall. I love the planning stage, though, it's almost as much fun as actually being there.
If you are bored Julie, you can plan all my excursions too!!!

I hate playing the role of TA!!!
