I guess since no one is around I might as well do some work. :cool1:

I tried to grow some when we moved down here but having the plants on the back patio and not going past them everyday to water them didn't work out. I did get some at first but they all died. I was thinking of trying to get a few plants in the front island but am afraid the gardeners would weed whack them or spray some junk I may not be aware of. Has anyone had any success on hanging cherry tomatoes or plum tomatoes. I don't think I want to go for the big ones anymore. Too much work. What I really would like to grow are some greens. Baby lettuces etc. Need to look into it.

In PA and New Jersey we would put in two or three cherry or grape tomato plants and for weeks during the summer we would have a basket of them on the kitchen counter. It was rally convenient to grab them out of the basket to make a salad. DH and the kids would eat them like candy whenever they walked past. We haven't tried them here in FLA. Have any of you who live in Florida had any success with tomato plants in pots on a patio.

Then you don't watch Criminal Minds?? And what was the doctor show he was on many moons ago?

I have one of his c.d.s and when he sings (coincidentally) Over The Rainbow....I get goosebumps!!

He was also the leading man in "Yentil". He played "Rube" on one of Kev's favorite shows "Dead Like Me" He played the alien cop "George" in "Alien Nation" opposite James Caan. And the doctor show you're trying to remember is "Chicago Hope"
I watch entirely too much :happytv:

Good morning! Happy Monday (if there is such a thing ... :thumbsup2 )

DH and I spent most of the weekend cleaning DS8's room and organizing all his stuff. Wow that kid has a lot of stuff! Comes from having 3 sets of Grandparents, 1 Great-Grandma and being an only child ...

DS8 came home yesterday afternoon and actually agreed to get rid of some of the older, younger toys. He is now home for a while, so this may start feeling like summer. With him away so much, we haven't even been to the pool yet this year! This week, he is coming into the office with me (one of the big advantages of working for my father!) but then he is going to go to day camp for the next 2 weeks. He is also going to swimming lessons most of this month 4 evenings per week. Oh yeah, there is Fiddle lesson on Wednesday and Karate on Saturday... Guess we're getting back into the swing of things! :rotfl2:

I'm told by Ag experts that its the dirt, so you need the Jersey folk to bring you a jar of dirt each time the come down....

Baby it's cookin' outside. Just got in for lunch to cool off for an hour. Our expected high today will be around 98* with the heat index over 100* this afternoon. Tomorrow is more of the same, and I thought winter was bad...................:lmao:

I really do like warmer weather, but this is just a tad to warm(hot).

I'm drinking plenty of water, but I think I'm sweating more out, then I can take in at this point.

OK, time to get something to eat.

Congrats on the 66666 milestone there Tommy Boy!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I'm told by Ag experts that its the soil, so you need the Jersey folk to bring you a bag of soil each time the come down....

I know, we had the best luck with tomatos in Glassboro. Next time we drive up, I'll have to bring some soil back with me. It's one of those local things, like cheesesteaks or hoagies that are never quite the same anywhere else. But, we can get some Tastykakes here now.

Except Crash, he's probably looking up his daily graphics postings.... :lmao:

or more likely at a dance class, kid play date, or other exciting kid stuff.

Poor Crash will probably cry if all his searching leads him here...
