You'll find DH and DD running away from my crazy DIS friends....

Although they secretly both had a great time on the last cruise....

The kids love the cruise but are ST and things embarrass them.. plus what if one of the kids they know saw them..

DH is funny, he will go near the DIS meet but won't talk to anyone and sits in a corner by himself. One year we meet an number of folks at a MK meet. After a while one of the ladies asked if the man in the corner with the DVC hat was supposed to be part of the meet to.. LOL just explained that it was DH and that was a close as he would come to the DISers.

Ok, that's hilarious. My wife does lurk the boards (at least she did on the 10-day HC) but I don't think she has found this thread (and I haven't told her yet -- it usually gets me in trouble at home).

Oh there are many on my floor that turn the lights off. Problem is #1 you can't read anything, #2 the glare from the screens are really bad. I work a 10 hr shift so the minute I turn the corner at work, up go the lights. I refuse to sit in the dark!!!!

I sit in the dark. I am in a cube farm and my neighbors stand on their chars and turn off the big floresant lights as it makes it too bright. Must be the difference between 20something eyes and my old lady eyes..

Ok, I am 0-for-2 today. Just had another meeting cancelled on me. Do these people not realize I got out of bed and took a shower and everything just for them?

OK, meds taken,luch all cooked, getting dressed and ready to go. I put in a suggestionto put dimmers on the flourescents. It's not that we don't like the light, it's too bright. There are 3 small tubes in each fixture and most of the ones that complain are of my age group. A few suffer from migraines and if we could dim the lights everyone would be happy. including me.
