Hey J.R. I believe you may have insulted me somewhere in there. What the heck does ecumenically mean??? If it's mean, don't tell me.

What kind of pirate: are you?

Jack Sparrow: [to Weatherby Swann] I think we've all arrived at a very special place. Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically.
Jack Sparrow: I want you to know that I was rooting for you. Know that.
[to Commodore Norrington]
Jack Sparrow: Elizabeth... it would never have worked between us darling. I'm sorry... Will... nice hat. Friends... This is the day that you will ALWAYS remember as the day that you...

MR....he was quoting the Captain. ;)

Misquoting him, actually, but I'm glad to see the reference didn't fly over everyone's head like a, well, sparrow.

And y'all should be impressed I knew how to spell ecumenically.

Not to be a smarty-pants (that's Mr. Smarty-Pants, to you), November 2007 is THIS November and November 2008 is NEXT November. Just tomorrow is NOT 'Next Friday'.

And some would of course say there is a vacancy in that house right now.

Mr. Smarty-Pants,

See post 53,254 - politics, religion are taboo....

I also forgot the master linguist you are.....:lmao:

Same here. I am so tired of all the fundraising sales. Luckily soccer didn't require the candy sale this year. But Boy Scout popcorn is coming in the fall and it is so hard to sell and now that I have two in Boy Scouts and can't rely on the Cub Scout Show-and-Sell, it will be even harder to sell $500 worth of popcorn. The Troop only gets $80 out of the $250 quota per Scout, and 25% goes to the Scout account, so I think I'll just write a check for $120 to cover the two boys' contributions to the Troop and save me and my neighbors the hassle.

I have always just written checks for what ever fund raisers Adam has ever come home with. Luckily he hasn't had any in the last 3 years or so.:)

OK, now I think I might be flying to DC at the end of the month. I can schedule 3 real interviews with people I've had good phone interviews with, & I might be able to narrow our house hunt down to an area or two by driving around.

I can stay with friends & I can get a down-right bargain basement $500 flight, which I am totally justifying by figuring if it gets me a job a few days earlier, then it has paid for itself. Plus, I can't figure out how to go to job interviews this summer while to kids are home with me & I really don't want to pay for day care until I'm actually employed. Life just keeps getting more complicated doesn't it?

We've decided (at least this week) that we can't really look for a house until I know where I am working. My kids are in school, but I have no interest in both of us being 1-1.5 hours away from them all day.

Oh and I think I really, really, really want one of the jobs I am going to interview for while I'm there...

Go M! You have more than enough reasons. :)

Ok, I'm off to finish packing and catch a plane.

I'll be at Disneyland this weekend with all the other crazy pirate fans waiting for Johnny and Orlando to walk the red carpet. Sorry guys, Keira's a no show, she didn't want to leave filming her current movie.

You can count on lots of pics when I get back pirate:

Enjoy Monica:goodvibes

Another thing that would help bring the price of gas down would be to make just one octane type. Most vehicles can run perfectly on the lowest octane of gas. :confused3

Yes, unless your car manufacturer recommends premium. And if your car starts pinging you need to move up in grade.:)

This is Kimberly Marie and my DW at Easter.

What a cutie!! I get to scrapbook friday night:)

I'm calling it quits for the night. I'll see what you all post during the night when I get up and then it will be off to Norfolk.

I will be in chat tomorrow.

Until then here is one last picture to make us long for CC .....

MEN!? Do you prefer a little or a lot of KY for your prostate exam? Do you prefer a male or female doc for that little bit of indignity? And is your doc nice by warming up the endoscope for you colonoscopy?

Right back atcha MR! :thumbsup2

Touche HC!

Boy did I read that word wrong! :rotfl2:

It's not mean. I only used it to make a POTC:COTBP reference: "spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically".

Thanks for clarifying......sorry if I am oversensitive, I'm just feeling a little exposed this week (so to speak) :rotfl2:

And Tom, I'm not a pirate at all, just a fair young maiden :rotfl:

Now that's really hysterical because I am not young, nor a maiden......but I am fair, both in complexion and in nature ;)
