and in response to my "oh no i gotta sew" post last night.....

i got the sides pinned on my vest (about 2 inches or so on each side.)

I think as long as i can make a straight line running stich it should look ok...

Now my problem is that the shirt i had on in my picture (white part) was borrowed...

So now i'm on the lookout for a pretty no-sew chemise pattern and i'll just throw something together out of cheap cotton. (Probably like that cheesy cloth kind that DH's shirt is made of....)
