Any week back to work is the worst week back! Now I'm not quitting because I have a TOAL to go on and pay for - and I know that there is no way any another co. would give me two weeks off in a row in the first year so...SUCK IT UP PEOPLE!!! (easy for me to say as I wasn't just on vaca!)

Seriously, you guys were missed and I was mighty jealous of all of you who got to meet at the mini-meet. We definately have to do something for the Northeast DISers and the NY/NJ DISer's (hey I can do both!).

And Lorri.....I don't even know if the old coot's we give me the two weeks off.....but then I really will quit.....and then when I get back from our TOAL they can hire me back at twice the price......or better yet I can get a job where I am not abused....that'd be even better!

For the second weekend running I have ended up with sun-burn on my face and arms.

Hi MR - no they didn't mention if there were any survivors.
Jaclyn had a great surprise birthday party with her friends Friday night. I will pass on the Birthday wishes.

Jaclyn takes her road test tomorrow. I hope they don't have the 12" of snow that is predicted. I am heading home on Wednesday for 4 days. If there is any remaining snow on the ground I will not be going. I am driving. I have to bring some things back with me. I haven't been home in over a year. So I will be busy from morning til night.

We are having a girls day on Thursday, me, Doreen, Elaine and our mom so that should be fun.

By the way I am going to be down in WDW 11/27-12/4
and 1/11/08 -11/18/08. My sister Elaine who has never been to WDW and my dad will be joining me in January. Ever since Elaine went on the cruise with us in August she is very into Disney,FINALLY!. Then I talked to my mom this afternoon and asked her if she wanted to go down in March with me so I will be going down again. Thank God for frequent flyer miles and having an annual pass.

Doreen has been really busy playing chauffer to the kids. She is always on the go with no time for herself. She has been filling all kinds of paperwork for Jaclyn for college and just alway on the go. I will tell her you said hello.

First of all - your in your right to say something - its all in how to you say it - I've found that with a cool head (although it took many lessons to find that out) you can get your point across. OK - here's my 2 cents and the reasons why I now will react that way in any near future: ...

P.S. - Son is fine and we told him to tell anyone that asks that a shark tore his leg which is why he has such a large scar! He doesn't but he's still remembers the incident! Now he can laugh about it but it took 10 years before he was able to be around any dog that was bigger than a toy dog. So be careful and mindful and hope things work out!

that is horrible and very scary!! i think i would have truly flipped out! i'm glad that things worked out in the end for the both of you!
i did end up calling the lady yesterday...and it was the most nerve wracking call i've made! i hate confrontations...i'm not good with them at all...but i didn't want to sound foolish. i think the call went ok, and i told her my feelings. she did end up saying that she is going to leave teh dog home from now on...we'll see on tues if she is lying or not. her salon is right next door to my dd's dance studio....so i will see if the dog is in the window or not. i'm glad i finally made the calls, cuz i just kept thinking of the "what if's"...our situation could have ended so differently! it's a very scary thought!

Hello everyone!

Just got back from WDW last night. Glad to be back home but miss Mickey already! Had to drive through some of this storm. It's very nasty here in NYC today. My tulips did well. Just about ready to Bloom.

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in our DIS mini meet down in Florida. We all had a great time. Thanks to all. We had lots of cake. I was happy to finally meet you all. So many nice people. Special thanks to all with cameras. Thanks to Andy for posting pics for all to see.

I'd like to start thinking about another meet this August. We will be there for 10 days from the 20-30 of August. Preliminary dates would be Friday Aug. 24 or Sat. Aug. 25, at the Wilderness Lodge or Beach Club near their DVC Pools.

Oh No Monica I hope what they told you is wrong. They told me 10 weeks. I have 18 weeks until my Aug cruise and although I don't need the passports for that cruise they took our Birth Certificates to process the passports. Right now I couldn't get onto any cruise ship! Well I guess order another copy of our birth certificates if it comes to that. 4-5 months seems like forever.

Listen guys, for those of you who haven't gotten there passports for the TOAL yet.....I think you'd better go soon!

Thanks MR. I went last Thursday for TOAL. I was told 12 weeks!!!!

Thanks for really making me feel guilty. I have one page done from my first crusie two years ago. I just need to make the time!!!!

I am only doing on-line scrapbooking now. I did a TR of my cruise in December complete with graphics and pictures and it only took me a week to do. I hope to get time to do my pictures and story for our trip to ATL in the next week and get that posted to my web site as well. It is just so much easier than trying to put things in a scrapbook for me.

What a great day we had today at the rodeo! Perfect weather, maybe a little too windy, but otherwise, great.
We had a chance to talk to Rocco Wachman (from CMT's Cowboy U and the Arizona Cowboy's College) a little more, and Jordan had her picture taken with him. She loves the show...and he was really nice.

They have an event for kids that is so much fun. My kids did it when they were younger and had a blast. It's called Mutton Bustin' and the idea is to ride a sheep for as long as you can.

The rodeo clown was in fine form!
