Hello Everyone.....just sitting here tonight trying to get my head around this terrible tragedy today. I feel so sorry for these students and their families. I really don't know what this world is coming to.

I am going to catch up a little bit........

I am signing off for the night fellow disers! What a day.
I can only hope and pray that tomorrow is better.

Talk to you all tomorrow!!!

Karen

Good Night Karen..........

Hey all.... sorry I've been away so long. The free dining special has been keeping me busy and then there's the whole pesky groundhog business. UGH!

Trying to ketchup here.....

Holy cow.... I feel like such a ST compared to y'all. I graduated HS in '94. Wow! You're all so.... like so.... um.... mature! ;) :lmao:

I like cake. :cake: No room assignment here. :sad2: Missed being in chat!! :surfweb:

LOVED your picks of Hawaii M - Pearl Harbor is on my "must do some day" list.

Pics of the mini-meet had me totally jealous. Even just for the sunshine and the cake. OK, the company, too. I love meeting up with people at WDW. Usually is one of the best parts of my vacations! I agree with everyone else, our gang is just the best and this TOAL is going to be great.

As for my upcoming trips to WDW....
May 22-25 @ CR and 25-29 @ CSR
(BTW - just found out Lee Arenberg is going to put in an appearance for dinner and breakfast at the POTC attraction :cool1:)
Sept 21-26 @ CBR
Dec 7-9 @ who knows. Arriving late on 7 & leaving afternoon on 9.
That's it for me for WDW until TOAL.

Weather stuff....

Thursday before Easter..... SNOW SNOW SNOW..... lost power..... couldn't get to work..... couldn't get Grandma out of her house even though there was no power or heat..... total bleah day.

Today..... RAIN RAIN RAIN..... WIND WIND WIND..... lots of damage all around..... had to leave work early because the two roads going home were in danger of being closed. Here's a crappy pic of my brother's driveway taken with my cell phone today.

They're in Canada visiting SIL's father, thankfully. House is ok, but they need your prayers. He has to have tests when he gets home. Worst case senario is that he has testicular cancer. Most likely treatable with no complications if that's what it is. Has two young girls and no plans for any more, but still not something to trifle with.

My other brother's ST is actually doing well in school. Still being a MAJOR PITA ST but at least he'll graduate. (Fingers crossed!) Won't find out for another month where they're moving.

Umm... let see, I think that's it for about now. I had a whole thing typed out but got booted out when I clicked reply. Can't remember what I typed now. Maybe I'm not such a ST then.

:grouphug: Hugs and prayers have been sent to those who needed them, even though I don't post it. :grouphug:

Cheers!

Jennifer

Today I was able to get tickets to see Al Gore's Live Earth Concert at Giants Stadium on 07/07/07! Eighteen acts at Giants Stadium alone! :woohoo:

But no one has been reading my summaries :sad2:

I've been reading them Tom and think you're doing a great job! Thanks for taking them over, as I'm sure Lisa will attest to, they cannot be easy to do! :thumbsup2

Hi my name is Tina and my DH name is Chuck.:rotfl2: I know the "other" Tina but really my DH is Chuck.

That is funny! :lmao: If I meet some guy named Chuck, I'm going to freak!

It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all

There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to ev'ryone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world

DD knows it by heart. Sometimes being with dd is like one of thoes MGM musicals where people bust into song and dance!:cool1:

Congrats on the Pirate Andy!!!! Like they say the early bird gets the worm!!

Thanks MR.......;)

And with this post, I am signing off for the night, see y'all in the mornin'.............

We survived the storm without any problems here at home. Started yesterday off with snow and got about 3 inches before the change over to rain - by about 5 last night the snow was gone and the flooding was starting. Schools started on a 2 hour delay today but quickly closed - lots of flooding and road closures. We're on the side of a hill so the water tends to bypass us but sometimes our cellar (and it is a cellar!) gets some water but there isn't anything down there that can get ruined.

Prayers that everyone we haven't heard from yet is okay.

Glad to hear that everything is good for you. :)

Let's all join in............"It's a small world afterall, it's a small world afterall, it's a small world afterall, it's a small, small, world....................:rotfl2:

o.k how is this ? :lmao:

it's a world of laughter, a world or tears
its a world of hopes, its a world of fear
theres so much that we share
that its time we're aware
its a small world after all

CHORUS:
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small, small world

There is just one moon and one golden sun
And a smile means friendship to everyone.
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small small world

I do!!!No offense Andy but the first time we took my nephew Daniel to WDW he was two years old and all thru our trip the only thing he wanted to do was go on It's A Small World!!!. So guess who was the lucky one to go with him all the time? That's right Aunt Karen! He even sang the song on the plane going home and delighted everyone on the flight home!!

Now ask me about "The Bear Necessities" With my neice Jaclyn who was 2 at the time driving to Indiana to visit my mom who lived in Evansville which was a 16 hr car ride. The Cassette tape was played continuosly from Syracuse, NY to Cincinnatti, Ohio which was 13 hours. Just to let you know the (cassette was lost) on our drive back home!!!

Karen

There's a special place in my, well, not my heart, for IASW. On one of our trips to DW, we got stuck in there for 10 minutes. Hearing that song over and over. I was really close to reaching over and punching out one of those singing dolls.

Um....didn't you get the notice that you can only go on each ride once? ;) worked with my kids the first trip. :rolleyes1
:lmao: :lmao: Good one ! My kids always used to argue over who gets the bigger piece of cake let's say. Good way to handle that one is one cuts the other picks the piece.:thumbsup2 :rotfl:

That is funny! :lmao: If I meet some guy named Chuck, I'm going to freak!

You will and he is nice. Just don't burst out laughing when you meet him. That might be hard to explain.:rotfl2:
