For those wondering... Jakob won his Novice Juniors class at the dog show today. It's his third Novice win, so he'll have to move into Open competition now. It was quite the birthday present!! Though we've seen the last of his winning days for a while - probably a year or so. Competition in the Open classes is TOUGH!!

We also had a lovely time down at Monterey Bay Aquarium for the rest of this birthday trip. Didn't get back till 9pm. Time for bed!!

I just booked a mommy/DD trip during free dining Sept 20-23rd... Staying at Carribbean Beach.

Also going is my DIS friend from work KATH1210 who has a dd the same age as mine....

Should be short but fun trip.... MNSSHP is fri night.. Maybe a water park that morning. Then we'll have a park day Sat and then finish up with breakfest at Chef Mickey's.

That sounds like a great trip for you and your DD.

I do!!!No offense Andy but the first time we took my nephew Daniel to WDW he was two years old and all thru our trip the only thing he wanted to do was go on It's A Small World!!!. So guess who was the lucky one to go with him all the time? That's right Aunt Karen! He even sang the song on the plane going home and delighted everyone on the flight home!!

Now ask me about "The Bear Necessities" With my neice Jaclyn who was 2 at the time driving to Indiana to visit my mom who lived in Evansville which was a 16 hr car ride. The Cassette tape was played continuosly from Syracuse, NY to Cincinnatti, Ohio which was 13 hours. Just to let you know the (cassette was lost) on our drive back home!!!

Ours was the video of "Here Comes Peter Cottontail". DD watched that 30 minute video non-stop from PA to FL several years ago. Needless to say we made a trip to Wal-Mart prior to the drive home to purchase several new videos for DD to watch on the ride home. (Somehow Peter hopped away one day while we were visiting the MK. Go figure!!!)
