Guess what? A cold front came through last night and we woke up to 32* temps this morning here in Florida, today's high will only be 50* and I left New Jersey for this............................

How is Deland? Hasn't it weathered several severe storms recently?

I have to go back into town later today, so I will be taking a ride where the tornado hit back in February and see for myself what changes were made after that severe storm and tornado went through the area.

My mom has to go in and work today, so we are going to take it easy until the Bar-B-Q this afternoon. We have to go into town and pick up a few itmes at the store, tomorrow we might go to one of the local springs for a swim. Did I mention it is going up to 84* here today? Oh and 85* tomorrow, 86* on Wednesday and 87* on Thursday..................and that's no April Fools

I glad to see that out travelers have sofar made it safely to Mecca of the Southeast. Enjoy you vacations and time with the family and the Mouse. I've got 17 more days!

I need toget in gear and hit the gym. I've heading into NYC to see Jersey Boys this afternoon. Can't wait! B-day gift from Mom.

Andy, you almost had me going It did get chilly during the night and I even had to close the sliders up here.Glad you made the trip safely. Are you anywhere near Deleon Springs? They have that restaurnat where you make your own pancakes. I've never been,(something always came up) but my DD and family go a lot.

Was MR going straight to the park?Hope her trip was smooth as well.
Work today and then off for 2 days. Driving into Sarasota for the day tomorrow and back Tues. I hope noone throws any April Fool pranks my way. Have a great day.

Hazel called and left a voice mail message on MR's cell phone yesterday morning around 9:30, but haven't heard back, so I'm assuming they are now safely at WDW.

Went outside to take out the trash and saw my uncle in his yard, went over and had a nice chat with him. I think I will jump in the shower since everyone else is till asleep. I'll be checking in from time to time, I sure do miss not having my cable service, I'm not use to waiting so long for this dial up service.................

Yep, that's the Springs we will be going to, it's just up the road from us. My mom has an annual pass as she really enjoys going there on her "FREE" time. We have been there a few times before, but we always took lunch with us, so have never done the pancake thing there.
