I thought the same thing when DH took me to see Gettysburg the first time...

The wax museum was lame.... and the town's idea of a museum was charging $5 to go into a back room of a store to see a dioramma that looked like it was built by a 6th grader.

HELP! I need professional help. (there's a big suprise!)

I absolutely want to take the laptop to Turks and Caicos this summer. With all the trouble I had logging on in California, I don't want to rely on the Palm.

So......I need a WiFi card. Our condo says it has wireless internet, and I know that Boingo has a wireless hot spot nearby......I just don't know where to start.
Who do I buy the card from? Do I need to sign up with a carrier? Can I still access my e-mail from AOL?

I have an appt at 5pm to get my haircut, then we will probably be on the road after that, so that gives you plenty of time to sneak your way into the trunk, especially since nothing is in the trunk at the moment............................

So if you see someone dressed in Lime Green standing by the Harbor tunnel say around 7 or 8pm..you'll have room?

A conference room for 1 might be a thoughtful spot, but it is not a conference room.

Yup, NWA. Not impressed with the customer service.
I'll have an hour to kill in Detroit once I get there.

The only time I have been impressed with any airlines customer service was when I flew First Class on my AMEX points.

I am a First Class flyer on a coach budget!

I find it interesting that there are so many of us who LOVE to DIS, and yet have spouses who do not understand.
I was just thinking that since my DH doesn't have softball games tonight (called off by the City of Phoenix in recognition of Cesar Chavez Day ) then I most likely won't be in Chat.

I love to see the "couples" who DIS together.....and wish that we were that type.

I would love it if my DW would DIS with us too. She loves playing Pogo with others online but can't seem to find DISing very appealing.

DD is thrilled with her b-day wishes!!! We're just hangin out until DH gets home and then we're off to dinner, some and then present time. I'll be sure to take a pic of DD when she opens her Stitch and post it!

Watching Survivor last night, I made another interesting observation about the differences between men and women. They had a challenge where they were blindfolded.....and almost 100% of the time, the women were much better at getting the job done "blind" than the men were. Definitely shows how "visual" men are, while women tend to use more of their senses.

Not to say that men have no sense, of course!

I agree that "men" are visual and I have overcome this by closing my eyes and "seeing" the task. I often will do safe tasks (no driving)with my eyes close by "seeing" the task.
